I was talking to guy that got laid off a few months ago. As part of the termination package, they gave him job counseling. The one thing they told him was that if you are interested in a job, keep calling until they tell you no.

    Call.

usually if they do not hire you on the spot it means that you didnt get the job, this is the clubs nice way of telling you no. i have never heard of a club not hiring a girl on the spot or giving her a scheudle (or let her work that night)and actually calling her later.....id wanna know why also.....

That club is sorta new in town, maybe you got an overwhelemrd manager, call to check up. If they say no, then there are other clubs around, and a new one on 76 and pecos opening up soon called Oasis.

Definitely call or even stop by to see the manager so that they can put a name with the face.

You never know...maybe they lost your application,... maybe one of the resident girls felt threatened and made sure that your application got "lost"...maybe the manager did get overwhelmed as previously mentioned....you never know, these types of things do happen.

If you go in and ask you will have your answer immediately and can either start working, or move on...but at least you won't have to sit and fret.

    Hi Page,

I am not a dancer but here is what I would do if I were you.

Make yourself up to look fabulous, not over-dressed but very well dressed and very sexy and hot looking. Then walk in and ask for the manager and very politely ask them if they have had time to look over your application and no matter what the answer is be nice and oh so classy. Even if you do not get the job today you might work there another time so always leave the door open behind you.

Even if he had made the decision not to hire you if you look great and act classy when you walk in the door you never know, he might change his mind on the spot and you may get it anyway. Businessmen are human beings too although some may make you think otherwise.
Anyone with a memory should be very humble.

Like Asia said the clubs i knew always hired right then and there. But anything could have happened.

I think this is worth 1 follow up! Then forget them.
