Well I don't know about fondling themselves but they certainly have the right to fondle me.

Based on precedents in Georgia, New York City, and the ERIE vs PAPS Supreme Court decision, if Oregon wants to outlaw contact with genitals, covered or uncovered, they have the right to do so.
*laughs* Actually, I think this is largely my club that's pushing for this. Oregon also has it on the books that we're not allowed to touch our boobies. Apparently no one pays attention to it, otherwise the city of Portland would go bankrupt. It does have more strip clubs per capita than any other city. That law however comes in handy if someone wants to be an ass.

You can't fight gravity, on a planet that insists, that love is like falling, and falling is like this...

Smurf, this is exactly my point in regard to all of these anti-dance club laws and the affect they are having on dancers. In order to make decent money, the girls have no choice other than to 'bend' the law on a daily basis, usually with the full support of the clubowners. However, as you say, this means that dancers must work in an environment where they're constantly looking over their shoulder. Should a local politician or DA get a bug up his ass, it's very easy to start suddenly enforcing these anti-dance club laws which usually results in undercover busts and misdemeanor charges being levelled against the dancers which are very difficult to beat.Oregon also has it on the books that we're not allowed to touch our boobies. I hope this goes through because in Oregon the OLCC has defined genitials as breasts, buttocks, thighs, as well as reproductive organs. It is technically illegal for a dancer to touch any of these areas of her body. It is also illegal to even shake hands with the customers of the clubs, as the laws define no contact as totally no contact.
On a different twist, the dancers don't get in trouble with the law for violations. The club takes the heat instead. The people with the money have a vested interest in getting things changed, so I believe that there will be some changes to come soon in Oregon.
