    Default Hunting Bambi

If anyone has heard there's this new game called hunting Bambi out in the deserts of Las Vegas. It consists of well heeled patrons (usually male ) hunting naked women(Bambis) with a paintball gun. It's pretty expensive something like $1K. per game so it's pretty much out of reach of the general public. The bambis are not armed so it's not like a regular paintball game.
Of course the opponents say it fosters male antagonism against women. I think they're the same ones who say the theme of pornography is mens' hatred of women.
I don't know. It seems to me that when female mud wrestlers go against a male patron (In one case the males feet were bound and he went against two females. It was all staged in the first place) the women don't have an ax to grind against the men or trying to impress superiority over them. A woman who becomes a dominatrix (I think the whole S&M thing is simply playful) that women are not trying to impose superiority over their male counterparts. In fact, several of these dominatrixes assume a fairly normal profile in the public life. Maybe their private activities help them maintain their sanity.
Of course there are dysfunctional misogynist men around but I'd think they more likely would be enrolled in a coed boxing or martial arts course where they could make real contact but yet still be supervised.
Despite the bruises and occasional bleeding the job really pays well to the women. I think of it more of the caveman mentality that the sexual preditor mode. What do you think?

HARSH!!! Paintballs hitting unarmed naked flesh would suck. It's like saying "If you give me cash, you have my permission to hurt me." There is nothing artistic about it, nothing beautiful. Just a whole lotta rich dudes shelling out $$$ to hurt a defenseless girl. Or many defenseless girls. F*** that.

That does sound f*cked up, man. Paintballs HURT!

I dont even wanna delve into what makes a man want to hurt a woman, much less the motivation for money on the part of the woman willing to get shot for a payday.

    F*cking screwballs.

I saw footage of this on TV! :o I cant belive this, lol. Its so.... wierd!

I heard the women get pay big $$$$, especially if hit my the gun.

Has anyone else seen the cheesy footage on tv? Its features a grown man in camaflouge creeping around some bushes for this naked blonde.

Hey, I might do it it if:

    1. they payed VERY well, in the K's
    2. I could wear something to protect my eyes
    3. if I could find a way not to feel totally ridiculous running naked from a moron with a paintball gun

On O'Reilly's The Factor last nite, owner stated it was $5000 per hunt, and that these were "softer" paint guns and balls.

Yes heard of it as well..lol
And since i play with paintballs once a year with friends who come in to florida, i would be all for it. Face hitting however is a accident.....but happens. That hurts.

These paint balls are much different they say, because you hit flesh, whe we play paintball, we wear thicker clothing than normal....

I would be for it, sounds FUN!!!

And Dom games are really not about power, Dreamer is right. It is just that, a game, good doms are safe and FUN!! You can't live the life style 24/7. It's the people who don't know what dom/sub is all about that need to educate before participating......scary.
Love it too...I go both ways depending on who i am with, and NO sex!!!

I think the women should get smart and open these places (if its what your into),because you knoe these cheap scum bags who thought of this ,if they are getting 5,000 per game arent giving these women nearly enough, for the cut the place is getting, but really how many men are going to pay this kind of money, for not even any physical contact, dont really think it will last long. it kind of reminds me of these people that open these fake hunting places, whith enclosed areas with deer running around and the men hunt them, doesnt really seem fair to the deer now does it.

I think it's pretty sick personally, but then again both parties are consenting adults.

The guy who started this game has his own website. Very ahem "disturbing".

    http://www.huntingforbambi.com/

I'm sure its all in good fun, but my thinking is what kind of person would want to pay $5000 for this. Apparently the girl gets paid $1000 regardless, but gets a whopping $2500 if she doesn't get hit.

Well, they ARE consenting adults, but those paintballs going at full speed reach over 200 mph and the girls don't get to wear any protective gear over their faces. Even at half that speed, I'd be a little concerned.

I do wonder if a gal came up to this guy with $5000 to shoot at a naked man, if he'd take her up on the offer. I mean her money would be as good as anyone elses, right?

Or how about whites shooting blacks? This is sick and the girls don't even get that much of the cost.

I don't think this country is ready for something like this (thankfully) and don't see it being profitable....hopefully the investors will get screwed.

its really disturbing, the men who would pay that much money to do it. but it really says something about the woman, too. i dont care how much money they are paying her, she has to have that inferiority thing with men that was probably ingrained in her from a very young age.

its all really sad. i think it should be illegal. those paintballs leave terrible bruises when youre clothed and protected. could you image the bruises on naked flesh? and us dancers complain about bruises...

well since we are looking at it this way, it may not be a good idea. But i love being hunted down during paintball games!! I hide very well, naked and the amount sounded better. I heard they used different guns and paintballs, but the article said nothing of this.

It's a guy hunts woman, and wins game.
Ever played catch them you can kiss them in grade school ? I did, very popular!
This is a grown up version with a......twist of course.

Guys have always hunted women for fun, even in clubs. I would not want to get hurt if they are using the real guns however.

Wow. I am actually SHOCKED at the response here. I was disgusted and appalled when I saw the webnews video. I don't care whether it is between consenting adults or not.

Has anyone seen this fox news clip?

    http://www.foxnews.com/video2/player...0Bambi&ram-300

A guy was asked if he found some sexual turn-on from hunting women and drawing blood by shooting them and he replied something to the effect of "It's like the old cliche. Women, you can't live with them, you can't shoot them. Now we can." He agreed it was turn on for most men.

Guys are paying $10,000 for each go at it (according to the web site).

I don't see this as fun and games at all. This is very disturbing to me.

OK, I re-read some of the responses, and I do appreciate some of them (Juliette deSade), but I think there is more at issue here than just getting hurt by a paint ball.

The original poster's apathy and distorted reasoning is unreal to me. Maybe I've gone off the deep end, but I don't see this as fun, for anyone. And it absolutely "fosters antagonism against women." If you saw that link, I don't think you could argue the guys are just playing. They are hunting their prey, drawing blood "in many cases" and then having sex with their "prize". Unreal.

Living in Vegas I've seen it on the news just about every night. And it's sick, dangerous, and these guys doing the hunting look like are out for revenge or some other twisted reason, not just "fun" if you can even call it that. They are using standard paintball guns and even the gun manufacturers are against it.
It will attrack all the sicko's out there with an unstable mind. That's how it appeared on the news. And I also saw interviews on national news networks with the owner of it all and one of the "Bambi's", she had not a brain her head. If he told this girl to jump of a bridge she would have!
They get $1000 if they get hit, if it's a hit to the head they could end up spending that $1000 in the trauma unit taking care of their injuries. Hardly seems worth it to me.
All I can say is SICK SICK SICK!
Thank god the city of Las Vegas is starting an investigation on it.

...and the difference between this and boxing would be? Not condoning either one, just saying that humans have a long, long history of watching or participating in hurting people for sport, and this isn't something new here. People bleed and get seriously injured or killed boxing or playing football or racing cars, the only difference here to me is that boxers get to wear flashy shorts (and get paid better, but then I'd rather take a nude paintball than a right hook from Mike Tyson anyday!) I'd say it would be hypocritical to tolerate boxing but not this, and vice versa. Getting rid of both could be a good thing, but I tend to side with liberty and letting people decide for themslves what they want to do, so long as they don't hurt bystanders in a tangible way. It sounds to me like the "bambi's" should be better compensated for this, but I'm ok with letting the fair market (i.e. the women who do this) decide for themselves.

I have to agree that this is not that bad when you compare many of the other things I have seen strippers do for money such as Mud wrestling and fire shows. I personally know one (ex now) dancer that is in a wheel chair from a slip during a mud wrestling event and another who is permanantly disfigured due to a bad mixture on some fire gel that actualy exploded on stage. The risk of personal injury is a part of life.

I agree with Pamela 100% (again a miracle) that this can be percieved as a D/s situation and MANY women find that the danger adds immensely to the pleasure of the activity. Also .... not all Dominant men are perverted sickos. Many true Doms are much more stable and controlled than the average male by nature. The money simply adds to the fantasy aspect for both the men and women just as it does for strippers and customers.

On the surface this does seem to be demeaning to women but then SO IS STRIPPING in most peoples eyes. This is entertainment people and its no worse than most reality TV shows where people starve themselves for 30-60 days (Survivor). Its the current fad in entertainment and its where the money is so MAYBE Some of you who condemn it should be seeing it as an opportunity rather than a threat.

Concerning the relative intelligence of the "Bambis" I Only have this to say..... What does a job at McDonalds pay?

14 years working in Strip Clubs. "What a long strange trip it's been"

Definitely not my cup of tea-I won't even play regular paint ball because of the bruises it can leave. That being said, I can't condemn people on either side of this if they are all consenting adults-it would seem rather hypocritical if I did....

BIG difference....one is armed, one is unarmed. The victim is a woman. The perpetrator is a man. It's unfair and misogynistic.

It's not about violence for sport. it's about something much deeper.

I agree, they are consenting adults and they should be allowed to do it. I wouldn't try to stop it if I could. It just sickens me that someone made a game out of hating women. At least stripping is somewhat empowering to dancers.

But I hate when guys pelt wadded-up dollar bills at me when I'm on stage....

I'd do it. I'd rather run around naked trying to avoid a paintball than stick my boobs in guys' faces (over and over), grind down on cock repeatedly and slap away hands that are trying to insert into my panties. But that's just my opinion.

As a side note, like Pam, I too have played paint ball (although not as frequently as her) and I find the game exhilerating. Of course I also had my own gun...but...I think I'd still try being a Bambi (if the opportunity presented itself)

Whoa, I didn't read the "having sex with the prize" part. That is definately not my cup of tea.

personally, i dont see the connection with this, and say, mud wrestling. to me it has nothing to do with risk of personal injury. that comes with almost every job. the point is, there is a message being sent here. shooting women is ok.

and you know any man who would pay 10k to do this has got to be a slight nutjob anyways/that just freaks me out.
