    Default dancing in Seattle

I am planning on going to Seattle sometime in August. I was wondering if you girls could recommend some good clube where I could work at. (I am 18 so I can't work anywhere where there is alcohol)
So far I've only heard of two clubs: Rick's and DejaVu. Ricks is supposed to be dirty (or is that even true) but the girls there make lot of money? i don't know much about DejaVu.
If you guys could suggest to me some good clubs where I could make some decent money it would be great! Also, would I need a dancer's license? whre would i get one? how long would it take to get one? and a LOT of info about potential clubs where i could work at. Thanx so much!

Not a dancer, and I don't know the clubs, but I'm from Seattle and my GF and I might have to come watch you dance. I figure that the first time I go to a club should be one of the SW girls.

Seattle is a great city, but I've heard from Susan and others that it's not great for dancing.

    Best of luck.

    Tyler.

I have never danced in Seattle, let me tell you why:
    1. The laws do not allow any strip club to have alcohol, period.
    2. There is a dancer license, cost approx $75
    3. There is a 4 foot barrier between the stage and the customer.
    4. It is illegal for a customer to "tip" a dancer in cash. this is considered prostitution,
    5. Private dances are completely clothed, and the dancer must remain six feet away from the customer. The customer must pay for the private dance with funny money purchased from the club.
    6. If the dancer is caught breaking the law, she is cited for prostitution, but the club suffers no consequences at all.
    7. Most dancers in the Seattle area are of the mind set that if they are going to get busted for prostitution just for excepting a tip, they might as well make the real money and go for the gold with the customers anyway, offering a lot of extras in the club or full service off premise.

Not to rain on your parade, but Washington is friendlier to prostitutes than it is to dancers. If a girl is caught soliciting it is only a ticketing offense, and no time is served by the girl. The tickets are around $200 and go up with each additional offense. If you want to dance in Seattle I recommend that you do parties and the like. The service I work for is Westrip.com, here in Oregon, but they are based in the Seattle area.

Being that you are under 21 you should try dancing in Montana. You would be permitted to dance in bars that serve alcohol, and the law has a kind of live and let live attitude toward most things. Also stage tipping there is good, so for a novice hustler can still make good money. Oh, and most of the clubs in the state will pay traveling dancers anywhere from $200-400 for a week booking.

Other clubs in Seattle include Honey's, Sugar's, and Sands... all decent clubs in their own way. There is also the Lusty Lady (peep show venue) on 1st Avenue across from the Seattle Art Museum.

I'm going to paste here, a customer's interesting point of view of Seattle's clubs that was posted elsewhere on the web: (the following written by 'Lux Interior')

    Club: Honey's
Location: On 99 south of Everett, just north of the Royal Casino.
    Cover: $10 /$5 drink.
Dance costs: Anywhere from $25 to $50
Atmosphere: Easy-going in the day, a little more frantic at night.
Best: The high-back booths for lap-dancin’ privacy – other clubs should really take note.
    Worst: The distance from Seattle.
    Mileage: Geo Metro

    Club: Rick's
    Location: On Lake City Way
    Cover: $10/$5 drink
Dance costs: $20 to $100 – yeah, one dancer tried to pitch me for a $100 dance. What a maroon.
Atmosphere: Do the Hustle. The girls are there to work, buddy.
Best: Hottest dancers in the Seattle-area (although Honey’s is giving them a run for the money)
Worst: The lap dance arena – if you enjoy getting lapped while other men watch, this is your kind of place.
    Mileage: Honda Civic

    Club: Sugar's
Location: On 99 around the 170th block in Shoreline, just south of Parker's Casino.
Cover: Free door cover on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday -- $10 on other days. $5 drinks.
    Dance costs: $20.
Atmosphere: Mostly young dancers, mostly empty club.
Best: The waitress contests are surprisingly fun
    Worst: Absolutely positively no privacy.
    Mileage: Chrysler Le Baron

    Club: Sands
    Location: 15th Ave in Ballard
Cover: Free cover, $4 drinks (two drink minimum)
Dance costs: $20 in the main room, $40 in the VIP.
Atmosphere: Small-town dive – a smattering of attractive dancers bobbing in a sea of homely ones. No pressure for dances, especially if you’re a regular.
Best: The highest mileage in town is possible here.
Worst: You may not want the highest mileage possible with some of the dancers here.
    Mileage: Toyota Prius

And that’s that. Everything else is a Déjà Vu, and you know what you get there – high prices, low mileage.

Here's links to the few clubs from the above list that happen to have a little precense on the web:

$20-40 for the highest mileage in town?? That is street walker type of money in a strip club. I would hope that if the girls are offering hj or bj that they would at least charge more then your usual lap dance.

Sorry for the negitive post, I really like the city of Seattle, and wish there were nice places to dance there so that I could afford to visit more often.
