    Default Stripping in the air

Anyone hear about the airline that has strippers on it? I hope they pay these girls for flying and they make more than just tips! Has anyone worked for this airline? I guess the majority of the customers are male....who comes up with these ideas? haha

I've heard numerous jokes that airlines should have strippers in the airplanes, 1)to boost the business of male businesmen and 2) to prevent any al quaida (sp?) from hijacking any more planes b/c they aren't allowed to see any woman naked except their wife. I didn't know they were doing this for real!?! :o

I have gf's who work at hooters and they don't have the airline.

My ex works on the software for JetBlue, and he knows nothing of an airline that has strippers on it. Other friend is a mechanic for Delta and he brings magazines to the hospital that are left on the airline for patients (which is nice), and he knows nothing.

Unless it's an over seas thing.

YES ...... It is real and it IS the Hooters chain thats doing it. It seems that Hooters Company bought out a small bankrupt Airline and plans to PERK up its business with scantily clad stewardess's. I think its a great Idea. Ther has not been enough innovation in the strip club industry (other than the trend to get BIGGER and gaudier). This is the direction the industry needs to go.

This company you are talking about is Cyber tech Solutions. Hooters is not involved with this airline. THey are hiring strippers/hostess.
Been in business for about 10 years, and hanging in there.

I got off the phone with a manager at Hooters here in my area, he said Hooters bought a couple planes, and now and again, they fly. A few Hooters hostess are on board. Not nude.
They fly to hotels and such.
Thats all he pretty much knew, if there is more going on he is unaware. But not strippers. He said they want to keep the Hooters image.

Pamela, I think "Just Me" meant that there were two separate airlines. One of which is owned by Hooters, while the other (with the dancers) is not whatsoever affiliated with Hooters. I had personally heard of the Hooters airline before, but this is the first I've heard of "Strip Club Airlines". Sounds different. I'll have to go check out that site.

    Right Amber,
Hooters is in no way involved with the strippers Airline. I did not think they would have an airline with stripping. It sounded as some thought they may be one and the same.

But i called because you never know what a company will do to bring in more business.

Stripclub Airlines in reality does not exist. It is simply a chartered business jet which someone has had the foresight to staff with stripper stewardesses, great food and drink, and a price which is double what a straight business charter would cost.

The airline that Hooters bought had 35 planes......including 11 Boeing 737-300's so this is NOT a small deal by any means. Perhaps the term STRIPPER is not exactly correct as the plan is for the stewardess's to wear "booty" shorts and crop tops (but NOT the official Hooters outfits) rather than be "NUDE". The business plan does however suggest that the "girls" will prrsent "aisle" shows, sit with the passengers and accept tips for ........ ?

Stripping doesn't have to result in nudity and does not have to include dancing. It will be interesting to see where Hooters goes with this. Could Deja Vu be next? I hear United Airlines is for sale.

Yea Melonie i called them today. Very nice people. And pretty expensive for customers. looking for ladies to come aboard!

DJ_Wulf, would be interesting to see where the Hooters plane goes with this. The airline is not is not that new i understand. So far i don't know of anyone who has flown, but it was in a magazine article about the buy. What mag. Heck i don't know, a freind said he read it sometime back.

What i found funny is some people who work at Hooters don't even know much about this.

I too heard they will not be wearing the typical 'Hooters outfit'.

I just flew Hooter's Air last weekend. There are regular flight attendants and 2 Hooter's girls who are wearing the normal Hooter's attire. Bout an hour & 1/2 flight, you are served chicken wraps instead of pretzels. The Hooter's girls take your tickets and then give you some trivia. There were only 15 passengers and the price was right! It was pretty fun! I won all 3 questions, since they had to do with our departure and destination places and I got 3 5 dollar off coupons! The Hooter girls were very nice too! I don't think people quite know what to make of it yet.

    Yes Justagirl,
strip club airlines are hiring. There is a toll-free to call, and a man (forgot his name) gets back to you.

Justa, just want to be sure that you keep in perspective exactly what kind of "stewardess" duties are likely to be expected here. These guys are basically paying 2,000+ per ticket to spend 4 hours in a private business jet with luscious strippers on the way to "sin city". IMHO this is probably the airborne version of a "Limo Party". No problemo if you're up for this sort of thing (and probably extremely high earnings potential), but if it turns out to be something which you were not prepared for it's kind of difficult to call a bouncer or "walk out of the VIP room" at 40,000ft.

Actually the plane does have a 'bouncer' if you will, for the customers who may get too out of hand.
No complaints so far against the airline, and the ladies like the job. But they like to have a new face then and again, to keep the airline going, as alot of repeat customers fly.

I hope the UK starts something like this!

I've been working as a flight attendant for the past 7 years and a dancer for the past 6 so this would be perfect!

I believe the story is from a Detroit, Michigan newspaper, here is the quote:

From the Lap Dance News Service - North Shore Bureau ...

    April 24, 2003

    BY RAJIV VYAS
    DETROIT FREE PRESS BUSINESS WRITER

Many airlines fly to Las Vegas, but a new one is planning to do it with a twist.

A local strip club would like to start a private charter flight to Las Vegas that would include 20 dancers and flight attendants to keep travelers entertained on the 5-hour journey.

If enough people are willing to pay almost $2,000 for one of 50 round-trip tickets on a DC9, the Flight Club, a strip club in Inkster, plans to fly daily from Willow Run airport to Las Vegas.

The Flight Club is planning to start Flight Club Airlines that would fly to the gambling capital with dancers and flight attendants. Phone calls to the club's president, Alan Markovitz, were not returned.

Brandy Tennant, a reservations agent for the airline, said the plans are confirmed and the airline would start flying May 23.

Flight Club Airlines carried a full-page advertisement in newspapers Wednesday.

Wednesday was the first day the airline was taking reservations. Tennant did not say how many travelers had booked tickets but said that plenty of people had indicated interest.

Round-trip fares of $1,995 per person would include a 2-day stay at the Paris hotel, Tennant said.

Another entertainment venue popular with men recently started its own airline. The Hooters of America Inc. restaurant chain recently started Hooters Air,an airline with its Hooters waitresses.

In December, Hooters bought Pace Airline of North Carolina with its 17 Boeing jets and 350 employees. Hooters Air currently flies from Atlanta and Newark, N.J., to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

    Their site is:
But no information there regarding this story so may be it did not work out for them ..... Well, it could be fun.
