Don't cha love kids!

I spend a lot of my time volunteering teaching martial arts to kids at my school. I think it is one of the most rewarding tasks a person can take on. I get such a good feeling knowing that I am helping someone to grow to be a good citizen. I feel proud when I tell a parent,"Do you see that problem child who won't pay attention and stand still there". Then I point to a disciplined student practicing forms and say,"That's the same way he was when he started". Gosh ,you get to see them grow before your own eyes! Besides that ,the kids are sooo C-U-T-E.
We do not teach kids just to fight. We are giving them survival skills neccessary to suceed in society. We prove to them they have the power to get what they desire if they put their heart into it.
I know many of the women have children of their own but I am saluting all you moms and dads who stood up to the challenge by grabbing the bull by the horns and wrestling with it. You trully are beautiful.

Both are great forms of interacting with children. Martial arts is not about fighting, it's about disipline.

Baseball is a great form of disipline as well.

As are all activities involving teaching children to build self esteem.
Both activities do so

One of our kids reputed to be the goof -off, loudmouth, and you wondered how he even retained his rank took the grand championship at the last meet. We must be doing something right.
As I see it, some people spend their time complaining about what's wrong with the world, others are doing something about it.
