Default Thinking about dancing all the time...

    Hi, all
I am from the atlanta area and lately I have been considering becoming a dancer. I think most women fantasize about this at some point. Anyway.... I visited some clubs with a friend. One the manager actually asked if I wanted a job. And at another club, my friend said the manager kept looking at me, and that he stood behind our table for awhile. I talked to girls at both places, one of them said I could def get hired at cheetah but I dont know if she was sincere or hustlin me, lol. He doesn't know I'm thinking about it - he just thinks I'm innocently curious lol but I'm sure its crossed his mind!! What I'd like to know, is this a good sign or just that girls don't regularly visit strip clubs, and the managers assume she's looking for employment?
Also, I don't know that I have the self confidence to dance. I could be in better shape most definetly. I'm about 5'5 and weigh about 120-130 depending most of the time in the low 120's. Not fat I guess but I could be more toned- I've always hated my tummy!! And i dont have an ass hardly lol. I would describe myself as cute rather than sexy. One of the girls who i tipped said i look kinda like those olsen twins!!!! Arent they like 12?? Im 21.
The stage literally scares the hell out of me esp the pole eep!! I've seen girls do shit that made me tip 'em a 20 just bc it impressed the hell out of me.... I think i'd be better at floor work but thats not really an option is it? Thats a stupid ? I know...
Also, about audtioning..... I dont have a whole lot of extra cash, nails done def. Would a black tube dress w/slits in the sides be appropriate? Its not awfully short and almost impossible for me to think of taking off sexily, bc of all the little slits my arms would come out the sides.
Well now that I've typed a whole assload, thanks for at least reading this, and I'm sorry if i posted in the wrong place but i thought more girls would read it here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The site is very helpful.... Thanx and luck to all

hey.. I just started dancing and all your concerns sound like how I was at first, the best thing I think I can tell you is to stop worrying about all the little things you think are "wrong" and just go for it, I feel that being a good dancer is far more mental then physical. Read the article written in here called something like, do I have what it takes, It is pretty helpful and should ease some of your concerns. I wouldn't worry about knowing any great tricks it all comes with time and experience.. remember that everyone starts somewhere. Good Luck!!

    Str8:

All I can say is NO dancer ever thought she was good enough to be viewed by all to see until she did it, and started making money at it. So, I think the battle is less about the little things--flatter tum, more back, etc..., and more about inside your head. Once that is set, all the rest will follow--and will be easier to handle. Good Luck! I've been to Cheetah's with some girlfiends once, and I bet you will make a TON of money!

exactly.....I had issues with the same things you did, but now that I've been doing it, I realize tons of guys enjoy my body and stage dancing is probably the easiest part of the job (unless you really want to get acrobatic, which I don't do). The hard part, the part you don't really realize is tough until you get into it, is the hustling. You have to be able to charm your way into his wallet.

Good news about strip clubs. Guys don't like the same look. And dancers come in all ages, sizes and attitudes!

There are always guys that will be attracted to your look. What i think may be "pretty homely", a guy may love her look!
    Just keep that in mind.
