    Default Hello

I wanted to say Hi to everyone.. I just started dancing last night and thought this was an excellent source of reference for all the questions I have as a new dancer. So as of now I have a thousand I could ask but I am going to give myself some time to learn... hopefully everything goes well......

I am answering this here, so you are sure to see it.

By all means change your name, especially if you feel more comfortable in another persona onstage.

Since you have only danced one night, it won't really make much difference now, and is a lot better than changing it after a couple of months--then it could be confusing. Take your time and pick a good one! It might even be worthwhile to dance one more night under your real name, to make sure you like the new one. We will help you, if you drop a few hints as to your personality and fantasy image.

I have worked with dancers under 3 or even 4 different names, in different clubs or at different times, now THAT can get confusing. I generally always want to call them by the first one I knew them as.

This is why I never want to know their real names, even if as a former customer in strip clubs I always liked that, as it meant I was considered to be special. Now I ask them to please NOT tell me, LOL. I get kind of spacey when I work, even though I don't smoke or drink, so I really have to watch the name thing.

    But again I digress...
