    Default Transmitting diseases

I should really know this shit but I dont. How is AIDS transmitted? Can you get it from kissing? Are there STDS that can be spread by kissing someone or having them suck on your boobies. Very fucked up tonight and feeling very paranoid.

AIDS isn't transmitted by kissing. I seriously doubt if you can get anything from having someone suck your boobs, but I guess anything's possible!

Best place to look for info is the US CDC website (Center for Disease Control) They have a whole section on STDs and AIDS.

Go to google and look up AIDS, in many of the websites you will get a toll-free number with information mailed to you about HIV, AIDS and ALL STD's combined.
There are many sites that send this packet out. Different packets, same info. One should come from your state.
If you can't find anything worth while, i have packets at the hospital i work at, just register here, and pm me. I would be happy to send you off alot of Information about all STD's.

Going from memory, I don't think any STDs can be transmitted via "boob sucking" (I could be wrong), but a whole host of bacteria and pathogens can be.

Well, as far as I know, HIV can be transmitted when infected fluid gets into someone's body.
If there is no contact with blood or sexual fluids, there is no risk (as far as I know, but I'm not a doctor or nurse or specialist).
Take a look at this site:

It explains everything in plain, easy-to-understand English.

    PJ your cool,
only from breast sucking if the woman is lactating, or has just had her boob sucked by another man a few seconds before, and he had a cold, or herpes. The area always has to have a "Moist" host.
Scabs, now thats a red flag on any part of the body, only because of scabies etc.! Stay away. Vagina area, as well anything goes!

Herpes can only live in warm moist areas. You dont need me to explain where warm moist areas are do you?

Some points you may want to be aware of....

Genital herpes can be transmitted with or *without the presence of sores* or other symptoms, and is often transmitted by people who are unaware that they are infected.

The cold sore/herpes virus is generally spread by skin-to-skin contact. There is a risk of the virus spreading when the first signs of tingling or itching begin (prodrome), as well as when no sores or blisters are visible.

Direct contact with the live virus including:

Any direct contact with an herpes infection
Kissing, touching or caressing actively infected areas
Sexual contact (vaginal, oral, or anal sex)
Cold sores or mouth herpes can be spread by sharing the same drinking glass, lipstick, cigarette, etc.

NOW HERE'S THE SCARY INFO ON HERP:

Sometimes those who know they are infected *spread the virus* between outbreaks when *no signs or symptoms are present*. This is called asymptomatic transmission.

Herpes simplex infections are often spread by people who are unaware they are infected because their symptoms may be so mild as to be unnoticeable or may not relate the symptoms to herpes.
Many genital herpes infections are spread by asymptomatic "shedders" of the virus. The virus can still be present in people with no obvious lesions during periods of asymptomatic virus shedding.

you bet it's scary! Also condoms are great! BUT...Don't give thre protection needed for sexual practices, intercourse, bj to name 2. The condom only goes up the shaft so far, and sores are present higher up at times. Scary!

Also a "first time" herpes breakout for many come with NO sores! Flu like symptoms, an outbreak comes shortly after. Some say you cancatch the virus at the "flu like" stage because the blisters are already present, but not completely at the surface, but some may be open, just no one looks! They think they have the flu.
Some people live with it with few to no break outs for years, and think it went away. Yea, they do. Some people are very ill with this virus, alot. Herpes sucks, and so damn easy to get.

I knew of a girl years ago who had herpes simplex 2, and she would have outbreaks so bad at times she could not eat. It was ugly. I felt sorry for her. She went to the doctor, and only then found out she had herpes.
It's a scary thing, all these virus that we have to dodge. Protection is not always the route to take. it is never 100%.
Imagine asking a guy if you can inspect his genitals with latex gloves on. Paranoia, no. Respect, yes.

I've only been dancing for a couple weeks, and I have a wart on my knee from the stage. I have never in my life had any kind of wart or cold sore. Very scary.
