    Default What do you....

So what are your comments on Junes update? Is there anything I am forgetting to add or should eliminate from the line up?

I am designing off of things that the girls here wear and I know that things are different at other clubs. Are there more specifics that I need to address for your areas??

As always I appreciate any comments you might have for me.
Thanks again. For those of you not interested in ordering online I do have a catalog that can be mailed out at your request. If this is something you might be interested in please e-mail me your address and I will be happy to get that sent out to you.

    Thanks bunches,

chelle, no disrespect, but your website needs work. It doesn't look professional.

If you are looking for inspiration on chlothing check out companies like Risque, Shirley of Hollywood, Leg Avenue, Forplay, or Body language.

They supply most of the exotic dancer chlothing industry.

Thanks for the input. I was trying to be a little different than everyone else out there by trying a different kind of approach. I will reconsider my approach.

Chelle, unfortunately I have been unable to see your website because something with the geocities forced popups causes my computer to freeze. But I'd say don't bother trying to mimic outfits from the companies named in the post above, because they are cheap, everybody on the internet is selling their cheap crap, and those companies do alot of cheap knockoffs of the better designs most of us prefer. Almost every dancer clothes site on the internet has stuff from those companies, and I generally don't go for any of it because 1) I don't want to look like everyone else and 2) I don't like the quality of their stuff. I'd say you'll probably have better luck with selling stuff not everyone else has.

The point Ryan was making about your website may be right on though - a well-designed website that is easy for most people to access, load and search through will make a tremendous difference in sales. Wish I could see your site - it sounds like you have some very cool stuff!

The one major thing I see that you have going for you is a willingness to adapt and do what it takes to get to your target customers. That is a big plus for you so just keep at it and you'll get there.

I like your pocket garters, very clever.

As for the web design: I think that there might be some people on this site who are web savvy enough to get you consistent and viable. There is an art to an e-commerce site and it takes some time to get it down. Lots of work, I'm sure you know!

Anyway, kudos for the innovative costume designs and the good start. You will do well with the good designs and quality construction. I'll be placing an order myself soon.

    Hi Chelle,

    Well, you have awesome outfits.

The background is nice, but somewhat distracting - maybe if you put the outfits themselves in a table with a solid colored background, which isn't hard to do with frontpage or any word program and a copy of "HTML 101."

As far as company integrity, or whatever. You need to post your return policy, and something saying how soon outfits are shipped. You need to post your email and/or phone number so that people can contact you. People want to feel like if they order from you and there's something wrong (ie, wrong size) you're going to be there for them.

It would also be nice if we could click on "dresses" and go to dresses, or click on "seperates" and go to seperates, instead of just blindly hitting "next page." But that might just be me.

Thnak you so much for all of your helpful input.

I will be checking into individual web hosting to see if I can stop those pop ups I did not realise they would be so bad.

I will me continuing with my current products as they are proven and tested items. I started doing this business from the dancer side as opposed to just the designer side. I was designing products that would work for my friends that are dancers.

I will be eliminating some of the animated graphics as well as cleaning up the background a bit because they are both a little destracting.

I truly appreciate the time you have all taken to help me out with your comments. I hope to serve your costume needs in the future.

    Hey Chelle,
I use http://www.stpwebhosting.com/webhosting.htm and they seem to be very good for the money. I got 50mb web space for $81 a year. They are prompt in answering question's and helpful with problem's. I have experienced no down time and there are no pop-up's. You will of coarse need a good webdesigner to use this site, but they are all over it seem's from my experience. I get like 5 week offering to do my site.
