I wear whats comfy. Jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sweats. Once in a while when i go out to dinner, I'll wear nice pants, a dress, or something sexy. No make-up and pony-tail or bun when I'm bumming around. I don't shave.

It seems like most of us dress down not to get attention on our days off. Maybe people will recognize us strippers because we DO dress down - LOL
It's better to be looked over, than overlooked.

Since I live on an island in the Caribbean, I wear shorts and tank tops with sandals most of the time, whether I'm going to work or not. At work it's makeup, the highest heels I can get and the sexiest outfits I can get. When I'm off work I rarely put any makeup on, except for a little lip gloss if I'm going somewhere. My hair is long (about an inch above my buttcrack now) and straight with bangs, and I don't do anything with it other than wash and condition, ever. I let it airdry and then brush it and that's that - both for work and off work. (But my hair is abnormally tame and easy to manage.) I live about 2.5 blocks from the beach so I go there whenever I have the chance, and then it's shorts and tank over my bikini with flip-flops and sunglasses.

I wear glasses, and don't even have contacts, so at work I am a bit visually impaired, but out of work I almost always wear my glasses - kind of a retro cat-eye style, silver in color, nice frames from D&G. If I'm going out for something casual, it's usually jeans or slacks and a cute tank and nice sandals (all my sandals have heels, btw). If I'm going out partying, it's usually tight black pants and a cool top, heels and makeup. If I'm going to a get-together at a friend's house, it's jeans or shorts and a tank or baby-tee and sandals, no makeup.

If I'm going on a date, I dress for the occasion and use a little makeup half the time, depending on where we're going. For a Sunday night movie it's more casual and no makeup. For dinner and theatre, more dressy - usually a nice dress that's sexy but conservative - and a little makeup.

Noticed an overriding pattern yet? I have a thing for heeled sandals! I have loads in different styles and colors and wear them all the time! I also dress for the weather, and since it's always summer here, the theme is generally 'less is more', but everyone goes with that here. I never tie my hair up, prefer to just let it go. Very low-maintenance. Overall I like to dress cute, feminine, somewhat girlie and a little bit sexy, but definitely slightly off-beat. For example, when every other woman in the room is wearing black pants and a retro paisley scarf-top, I'll be wearing red velvet pants and a black slinky top with my cat-eye glasses.

I have a problem and I admit it: I'm vain.
My wardrobe consists of far too many sexy dresses, skirts, tailored jackets and slacks, unique and/or sexy shoes. I wear make-up practically daily, although for casual activities it's minimal. I enjoy my femininity and flaunt my attractiveness while I'm still 23--The women in my family age poorly, so I'd rather enjoy my looks now, than regret being slovenly or modest when I have varicose veins and cellulite some day

Jeans and teeshirts to class and to the grocery store and all that
Boxershorts and tees around the house
Every now and then I put on a skirt to go out
NEVER put on makeup unless I'm going to work

Just tonight I was talking with a friend, and the topic of strip clubs was brought up. I wanted to test the waters (my friend doesnt know that I dance) so I asked if I could be a dancer. He said no, and that he would never believe me if I told him that I was. HAHA. Ive been sucessfully dancing for a few years. It is usually hard to tell that a girl dances just by looking at her. I look completely different when I put on the whole stripper get up. As far as dressing, I spend so much time being sexy at work, when im home baggy clothing and hair up, no make up is my preference.

I just try to wear what I like. From dancing, I know that clothes can affect the way people treat you. The question is, am I in an environment in which I care about this? Going out I tend to dress attractively but not too revealing-- 4" heeled black boots or nice open-toed shoes, fitted (not stretched) low-rise slacks, skirts, tighter shirts with coverage. I show off one or two features (usually legs or bust, but not both). I think that clothing should add to the person wearing them, not distract. A casual outfit with sexy flair is best for me. At home or with friends or my man, it's the comfy stuff in styles that make me feel good-- baggy raver jeans, a little tank top, converse chucks, cute socks and a ponytail.

And most of you will probably agree that a more experienced and fit dancer will make almost any outfit more sexy than the average female (the walk, the polish, the maintenance). It's nice to be able to take leaps with fashion and skin comfortably and realize that there is a time and a place for it.
