Default Another Dancer Trying to Ruin my Stage Work

I recently started working at Deja Vu and there is this one dancer...I think its her not really sure...but she was on before me when it happened 3x.....

There was these small metal round ball things that were on the stage while I was doing my set. I noticed there was a few of them on the stage floor, so I quickly got down and started doing floor work and swiped them off the stage. If I had stepped on them I would have fallen on my butt. I probably would have hurt myself if I stepped on them.

This has happened to me 3x, and every time the same dancer is on right before me, who is always giving me dirty looks etc.

How do I handle this? Do I tell the management? This dancer has worked there for 5 years.

    Help I need Advice

Not sure if managelment wo9uld do anything...if you think they would and you wont look too much like a tattle (which will only make this girl hate you more) then tell them. Otherwise I would either talk to the girl or continue to ignore it and eventually she will stop if it is her...

What I would do is tell management that you have been finding these things on stage and you are concerned that someone could get hurt. The club has a responsibilty to make sure that the stage on which you perform is safe and free of debris. This way you are not necessarily "tattling" on the other girl, just making management aware that there is a problem.
As a side note, I don't know if you have ever seen the movie Showgirls, but a girl drops marbles on the floor in one scene and the girl ends up getting seriously hurt. You don't want that to be you.

Well if you fall and bust your ass, or worse break a leg..um i think that spells trouble for the club, if this girl is leaving this crap on stage that rolls around seemingly for you to fall on.
By all means TELL management! This is putting you in at a risk for injury. Ask them just to be aware the next time she leaves the stage and you get on. That way they will see it for themselves. And i don't care about being a tattle tale, you mess with my job and my health, you will get what you deserve!
Been in the business too long to put up with crap from other dancers.

I don't know how this works at your club, but where I work the bartender/waitress does stage maintenance by cleaning and disinfecting. There is nothing wrong with asking the person, or doing it yourself for that matter, to clean. Shit, get a brrom and a dust-buster while your at it. At my club there was some crushed glass on our stage a few weeks ago and the DJ and waitress spent 30 min. sweeping and making sure they gotten the little shards up. later that night, I got a little scrape from some of glass and bled a small bit.
Not too bad for me, but the last things any of us need up there is blood!!
It's better to be looked over, than overlooked.

Ask to change your stage shirt. Tell the DJ or whom ever is in charge you dont want to go on stage after her.

I'd pick up and show a few of these to the shift manager and mention to the DJ while tipping him an extra $1 or two, you'd rather not follow that dancer anymore.
