There was a post about portable poles about 6 months ago. From what I gathered, they aren't very safe. Some so called "portable" poles required you to drill a hole in the ceiling and screw in the bolts..doesn't sound to portable to me. But anyway, I'll check out the site that you came across and see if this product is any better

I worked on a stage like this at The Hustler Club in ESL and it wasn't that bad. The one here was pink and about six feet off the ground instead of four, but it had the same free form non-attached top and it was pretty stable. The Hustler Stage, I'm willing to bet, may have been a little heavier and more likely than not bolted to the floor. It was however, stiff enough to do difficult pole work and complicated moves. It does wobble a small amount, but that could be adjusted so perhaps it can be with this one as well.
