Those that don't take shouldn't be taken.
To those special folk who realize all we are doing is throwing ideas about and who know the difference between opinion and Id, I appreciate reading your thoughts [and respect them whether I agreed with you or not].
To less open minded folk who feel the need to silence those in opposition to their view of the world I suggest to you that you just might be your own worst enemies.
Karma to the people!

Well honestly I sometimes find it a little hard to believe that this occurs with any frequency, since in 7.5 years and more clubs than I am years old, it's never happened to me. Of course I don't doubt that it does happen, but that it happens often is hard to believe. I've never even had something inappropriate suggested during the audition process, or even anytime after being hired. Maybe I'm REALLY lucky, or maybe I give off the vibe that I won't put up with such nonsense, or whatever. If a manager did try something like that on me, I am quite sure I'd lose no time getting the hell out of there and possibly reporting him after I recovered from the initial shock.
Do any of you other ladies have this sort of thing happen?
Bridgette, as you stated it has never happened to you, nor has it happened to me..... One of the first clubs I worked at though(nasty hole in the wall) The manager did this with alot of the younger girls......
Would also help them get hooked, keep them hooked and then take things out in trade......Like I said this was a hole in the wall club where I felt confortable to start at, and after seeing all of this realized thats not the life I wanted.......That was the only place I seen anything like that...
It was at such a bad level to that I almost stopped dancing........Glad to say this club is now closed and torn down.
There is good and bad everywhere. Managers that run thier clubs like that is what puts the bad name out there for dancing........

Never, i know the owners of the clubs that i have worked for very well, and they know what type of person i am. One manager (he actually ran the place while the owners wife was having surgery and recovering),
Did ask me to lunch, but i very quickly told him if we went to lunch, he may lose his job. It was kind of a joke, but wow! He never spoke to me again. It's pretty clear i am there to work, and after i just want to come home to my daughter. Pamela

Nope never happened to me. I don't know if the type of clubs I worked in had anything to do with it or not... I worked strictly upscale no contact clubs.

it occasionally happens to me, particularly by club owners/managers who have a thing about big boobs. A manage to side-step it.

Never have I encountered this - I really don't think it happens in most clubs and if it does they certainly aren't going to have very good dancers working there.

i have never had this happen to me guess i'v been lucky. i try to avoid those situations by not working at icky clubs with bad reputations or talking /putting up with sleezy managers or owners there are too many clubs to work at then to have to deal with such nonsense
casting couch?
i think this was more prevelent in the "old days" when demand far out weighed supply. now days owners dont put up with the managers "shit where they eat" sorry for the gross term. but it isnt neccesary in this day and age with so many clubs that are on the up and up. i personally being an older dancer and been around awhile have never encountered this. if this happens run dont walk out of there!!!!

hooorah it works!!! Good Job Guys![]()
I've never encountered such a problem, but there was a girl who I heard had slept with the boss. She was pretty much a prostitute who danced as a way to find her "clients" for whatever. The management knew about it, but looked the other way (I guess that's why she gave them sexual favors). Ick... this guy was awful looking too.
