Ahh, Shan's in Kansas City. Cool. However if it doesent lighten up.. i just might have to goto boozokas *which i heard has really mean and rude management + 100 $ tipout on a weekday :| * I hope they make good money with a tipout that high
*it goes up to 120 in the summer i believe* YUK! :o
I've been to Bazookas Shan. Met a lot of great girls there, but the hustle was nonstop and management had someone always poking around the couch dance area in the back (I guess to make sure they counted the dances). They also were nazis about those bandaids over the nipples.
I also hated the "couch dance only" thing they have every half hour where there are no girls on stage. I almost HAD to buy dances because sitting at a table, sipping orange juice with nothing to watch was just unbearable. But with no liquor license, I guess thats how they make their money.
Truthfully, its probably slow everywhere in town, so if you're happy where you are, you're probably better off staying there. Things will probably pick up once the weather warms up, baseball season begins, and the local attractions start having events.
One thing that WOULD have been a terrific money making opportunity is the Big XII mens basketball tournament, which was held in KC every March for as long as I could remember. Unfortunately, they've moved it to Dallas this year and next. But it will be back in KC in 2005.
