Good work, former gymnast! You asked in another post about contact--I think all clubs in Atlanta are no contact (lap dances are illegal). However, I´m not 100% sure about this.

well your first night isnt always the best till you get your "sea legs" . the conversation without the $$'s is a huge trap. some guys actually try to see how long they can get you to stay for free. do the two song limit sit talk for two songs then pop the question. if the answer is no say nicely ok well i need to get back to work i'll check back with you later big smile

I too just started not too long ago. My first night was on a Friday and I made $100. Which I thought was way cool. It takes a little bit to get in to the scene of things but don't give up. I had worked from 7 to 2 am so the money was about the same. Good luck though. Wish you the best.

I agree that one's first night isn't the best. You're too nervous and you have yet to find out what works best for you.

Actually, being a new girl can work to your advantage. Tell the customers that you are new... I know that whenever I'm the "new girl" at a club that I tend to make more initially due to this reason.... "fresh meat" as such ;-)

    Good Money Luck to you

I remember when I first started dancing, I had NO idea what I was doing, and I didn't know that most of your money comes from dances. I started out in the shittiest club in town and made $30 in tips and $30 from the club my first night. For weeks I thought I was making a fortune bringing home $100/night. Don't worry, once you get used to dancing you will be making a lot more. Just like any other job it takes some time before you become really efficient. I have definitely come a LONG way since my "newbie" days!!

Yes it takes time to get the hang of it. But the two-song limit is good advice. It's great to talk to the guys, and helps your selling, but pay attention to the time you're there and ask IF YOU CAN DANCE FOR THEM, instead of do they want a dance. If you find it's hard to keep up with the songs as you're chatting, just look at who's onstage when you first sit with a guy, and if they're doing two song set onstage at your club, if the girl onstage was on her first song when you sat down and you see the next girl coming out, you know it's time to pop the question. Watching the stage while you're talking makes it easier to keep the time in mind, and lets you see other girls' moves at the same time. Good luck!

I would have to say as a dancer for some time that the first week don't count. You really have to get a feel for the crowd. And if regulars are to come in, it is usually within the first week, since they don't stay away that long. Jitters will be gone for good after the first week as well. (should be). Then the potential to make your money should start coming in. May be slow at first, but should pick up...depending on what type of club you dance at as well too i might add.
