Default Got an Audition!  Help Quick!

I went to one of the local clubs to apply for a waitressing job, but the managers were convinced that I should try dancing. I just had a baby though so I don't think my body is up to snuff, but they said it wouldn't matter. I then went to the store and assembled an outfit, and I have to admit I don't really look all that bad. I really need to succeed at this though because I have 2 babies by myself and really want to go back to school.

Ok ladies, think back to your first time up. Any advice? I have a few questions in particular -- ???

    1) How do I move on stage?

    2) How do I get table/lap dances?

    3) Does anyone know of a good body makeup for really
    pale skin?

    4) How can I minimize shaving irritation?

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated!

    1) How do I move on stage?

However you're comfortable. You can move slowly and be seductive and exotic, or you can be a bouncy blond party girl. Whatever works for you.
Watch yourself in the mirror at home and see what you look like, watch a couple other girls, and go for it :-)

    2) How do I get table/lap dances?

It depends on the club. You may just go from table to table going "Hi, I'm Kim, how are you? Would you like a dance?" or you may sit down and talk to people and try to get them to buy dances or champagne rooms. Don't spend too much time with someone who isn't spending money. Three songs, max.

    3) Does anyone know of a good body makeup for really
    pale skin?

Tanning lotion :-) Or one of the new shimmering lotions - they haven't done much for me, but I've seen them look very good.

    4) How can I minimize shaving irritation?

TendSkin is the best. Depending on what part of the country your in you can get it at Sally Beauty. If they don't have it you can get one of the similar (but inferior) products. See also extensive threads about razors and shaving in the body business section.

I'm a new dancer, so I just went through the audition process.
#1- I think slower is better when dancing. I guess I try to be seductive and move my hands slowly over my body. However I also think the type of dancing depends on the club. I was hired at an upscale gown club, and all the girls seem to move in slow motion. Very sexy. I also danced a night at a smaller club, and the girls that did well there had stage shows that involves a lot of ass-shaking and pole tricks.
#2- If you are new, guys will approach you for dances. Bank on the idea of beign the new girl. Personally, I think it's somewhat rude to just approach a customer and say "Wanna dance?" I've had better response from talking to the guys for a few minutes.
#3- Self tanners are great. I like Neutrogena or Clarins. A powder bronzer is also helpful to define your cheekbones, collarbone, and breasts.
#4- Make sure you are using a good razor ( i use Gillette Venus), having cream, and lots of warm water. For your bikini line, shave in the same direction as hair growth because this helps to minimize those littlle red bumps.
    Good luck!!
