Default How About Some Posting Guidelines!

I've noticed that several of my posts have been removed. At least 10 or 11 were removed on one night. Are there any posting guidelines on this site? I'd like to avoid further embarrassment, you know .

were they derrogatory? Carlos u always seem kind in my opinion. I could mention another persons posts my eyes could do without viewing for certain, u are definately not one of them.
Mind u I guess I never saw the posts that were deleted?

    kidding.

No, they weren't derogatory. I've never bashed people in my posts. If they've been offtopic, hey, I haven't been the only one.

Hey Carlos - Maybe this will help - these guidelines are almost verbatim (from the Administrators) on what Holly and I were given as moderators :

Posts that will be edited or deleted:

*Messages that have no clear connection to the topic of stripping or to the activities of members.

*Attacks focusing Solely on personality/opinion differences only. (this doesn't include critiques of others' ideas or behavior)

    *Spam posts

*Requests for personal contact w/o offering any on-topic information (this is why we have the Private Message feature)

*Responses containing simple URLS with no information that goes along with them. (unless it pertains to an original thread requesting information, or if it's in the members signature area)

*Message directed to only one or two members of the forum (The PM feature should also be used to this)

*Message not written in English ( if we can't read the posts, we can't determine the content)

*The same post being posted in multiple forums.

:::Hope this helps, Carlos - of course, Pryce, if you see anything that I've missed or not covered or haven't expressed clearly, please edit my post accordingly.

The guidelines are simple, but somewhere we've all fallen guilty of doing something wrong - hey even I've lost my head and have had posts removed!
If anyone needs clarification, please let me or Hollyday know ..

From what I've seen the biggest 'offenders', having had to be removed, have been posts directed to only one other person in the Forum , and most of the time it not having anything to do with the original thread - it helps the congruency of the thread to keep those posts isolated to the Private Message feature. It also keeps the pages of the post lower so we're not scrolling down all day past irrelevant posts!

Did I miss anything? Hollyday? Pryce?

    Happy Friday, everyone...
    Jax

Carlos, there are posting guidelines in site issues forum, they were also displayed when you signed up.

Here's a cut from it that would help you:

"To ensure that your messages are not removed please follow these guidelines:

Make sure your messages have a clear connection to the topic of stripping or to the activities of our members.

Do not request that others contact you without offering on-topic information.

Messages directed to only one or two members of our forum should be sent using the messaging system that is integrated with our forums.

Remember, this forum is for dancers. If you are not a dancer, please keep your posts relevant (i.e. do not make posts about who gives the nastiest dance)"

There are a few things that should be updated and I will have it done soon (it's scheduled for this weekend, though I have a HUGE project due next week so we'll have to see). Personally, I have removed some of your posts that basically said "ditto", "me too", "yes", "i agree", etc.
We all imagine ourselves the agents of our destiny, capable of determining our own fate. But have we truly any choice in when we rise, or when we fall, or does a force larger than ourselves bid us our direction. Is it evolution that takes us by the hand, does Science point our way, or is it God who intervenes keeping us safe.

So much struggle for meaning, for purpose. And in the end, we find it only in each other. Our shared experience of the fantastic. And the mundane. The simple human need to find a kindred, to connect. And to know in our hearts... that we are not alone.

Yeah, OK, those posts are totally uncalled for. I'll refrain from posting those. As to the guidelines, well, I tend to be absent minded and did not realize that they were provided with membership.

If having a post deleted from this board is the worst thing to happen to any one of us, then things aren't all that bad in our lives!

I notice many post from Non- dancers.
Some are interesting but most are questions from club customers that have stumbled onto this fourm.

It only takes reading a few post from these guys to make me bypass any posts topic that they start.

Reading to many questions and responces from guys takes the special edge off this strippers web forum.

I agree. We're going to try out a new policy (hopefully this weekend) that will address that very issue.

Le Q, very good point. I never start a thread on this board as it is for the strippers. If I do have something to say, it is just to add to what has already been started. But you are correct, dancers should start all threads here.

I am so tired of 59 posts from some 48 year old guy
who can only become a female dancer in his dreams.

Hey, Carlos, I've had postings removed. I scratched my head at first, but my conscience was clear. I knew I hadn't said anything offensive.

So I figured it was either off-topic or just got caught up in a general sweep.

I also figured that I might be posting too much as a man in a ladies' party.

I also figured that nothing that changed the world was being removed, and I should just not worry about it.

I would state that when one starts a topic here, the SUBJECT of the post should be relevant to something that would be of a dancers concern or interest, regardless of whom started it. I for one don't post in forums like "Body Business" and "Hustle Hut" because as a customer, there's absolutely no input that I can offer the dancers on those matters.

I also generally do not post on the Stripperweb "Club Chat" forum because that forum is meant for reviews from the DANCER'S perspective. We customers have a similar forum on Stripclubjunkie for OUR reviews. BUT if a dancer inquired about a club or area that I was familiar with and no dancer had any info, I'd feel it only proper to offer whatever advice that I could, however limited.

Similarly we have a number of dancers who post (and even start topics) on Stripclubjunkie, who have inquiries about topics that it would be best to get a customers perspective on, or would be of concern or interest to strip club patrons. I for one, gleefully welcome their presence over there.

I also know that we have at least one male dancer member here, and several of you ladies are also club patrons in your spare time, hence the lines between dancers and customers are not so concrete. Therefore, while I agree with the sentiment here that we should remain focused on the intended subject matter and shouldn't fill the forums with frivilous comments and subjects, I think the ability for everyone to be able to post on both websites IS important.
