    Default Point and Laugh...

Okay kids, feel free to laugh at little Smurfy. Actually, that might hurt my feelings.

I took some pics and put um up for grins and giggles. Any sugar coated constructive criticism would be nice. Yes, I know I'm very white, no that little bit of inner thigh will *never* go away naturally. And I have no idea why I kept looking to the right, I think my camera wasn't straight on. I really don't look that dorky from the shoulders up, but I don't photograph worth beans. Except these cool portfolio pics I had.

Anyway... they are numbers 2/3/6/7/32 and located on pages one and four.

I'll try and find the kyoot pictures that show my face right. In the mean time I gotta do something about this awful haircut the mean lady gave me...

You have a cute face and nice body sweet and innocent. The problem is not you. I'm a photographer you want to look your best. So all details should be taken into accountability your hair, make up, and you costumes. Do it as if it's going to appear on a national magazine. Of course they would help you.

When I shoot girls for model portfolios web site ect. I make sure theres a make up artist a hair dresser hopefully you can get booth in one person. next I make sure they have a well thought out costumes and then I pick a site . indoors or outdoors lighting is very important .This looks like a flash unit mounted on the camera. Lighting is an art and you cant take good pictures without it. The other is someone needs to help you pose and photo accenting your best features from the right angles. You are very sexy even from the pictures you posted at least you started and posted nothing to laugh at. It takes guts to do that.

Aww, Smurfy you're so cute :-) But you need to smile, like this

And stand... well, hmm.. get in front of the mirror and experiment with tipping your pelvis forward, and lifting your ribcage up and out, if that makes any sense.

*blushes* Thanks, I dunno where that burst of bravery came from last night. I really just wanna make sure that on Tuesday I don't get laughed out of amatuer night.

You're right, it isn't me, but it's easier to say that I don't photograph worth beens because 90% of my pictures of me suck. My photography teacher told me I'm uh, "Difficult to photograph because I don't have the traditional american slab face."

Mind you when I was working with this guy who was patently brilliant my pictures were awesome. I also had a modeling agent fussing over my clothes, her daughter to do my hair and make up, and was standing behind a Nikon that cost as much as a used Honda Civic. Ooooh and his studio. So yeah, if someone has half a clue I can turn out wonderfully in a picture.

I just used our digital, ironically mounted on a nice Bogen-Manfrotto tripod. I would have used my Canon AE-1p (EF got stolen ) but I know everyone, at every photo lab in town so that's out of the question.

Heh, I do that sometimes. My mom calls it the Carter Smile which means lack of smile. I try so hard not to look like a dork, that I end up looking like a bigger one.

I know exactly what you mean, and it makes all kinds of sense *now*. Heh, I still have memories of the photographer I worked with nagging me to stick my chin out. Makes your neck/jawline look better. So weird....

You look great. You don't look like a dork at all. You will do well at amatuer night. Best of Luck.

I left a message at your picture. What is wrong with you? Silly girl, you are great looking! It's funny how we see all the "ugly" body parts that others don't. Maybe because they are not there after all!

I was going to ask you if you used a digital camera. It has a low resolution and therefor gave you unsharp pictures. But we got the point men will love you. They those young looking girl and you do have a special sexy quality about you. Good luck!

    Smurfy:

You are absolutely adorable!!!! And what little bit of inner thigh are we referring to?!?! Your legs are thin! Your spunky personality and sense of humor makes you that much sexier. Just make sure your spunk shines through and you'll do wonderfully!
