    Merely_lurking,
i do not have any problems with you or anyone else on this board. (i hope.) We speak our minds. As you see i got involved in a few threads that nailed me and others. I still like them fine. You stated an opinion. Probably at the wrong time or wrong words. I am not sure. I like Candi and TiNi, Hershey just fine.
Sometimes we say things that others will get offended by, that is normal. On this board we are typing to MANY different personalities. How can you feel one out when you don't know them. It's very tough to choose words at times with out pleasing someone, and making the other mad.
I respect every single message posted here, do i agree with alot? No. But it's an opinion, and i like people. Looking back now i should have stayed out of some threads, but at the time it sits on my brain and i type. Mistake, maybe..Maybe not. Others learn about one when they type to them. Hershey had a bad night, i would love to support her any way i can. I only have my words to do so. As you do. I hope all gets worked out. The wig comment, i have seen my share of black women at one club (Sanctuary) that is 80% black, hell i go. And alot of the ladies are wearing coloured wigs! It's beautiful. But some chose not to. Why change who you are to please others? That makes sense. But i did change my look to dance, because there was more money to be made, and doors to open for me. That is me. These ladies don't think like me i am sure. But i support them just the same. I would love their support, or anyones if i needed it.
I hope this all blows over. Luck to us all. Seems alot of fighting is going around lately. And that sucks. Pamela

Hey Lurk, I hope you noticed that Alanna was ripping me in the Junkie board! This is the way I take it: we are men and it will always be, that women will bitch and moan and nag! It has nothing to do with dancers! And it is the mans job to just put up with it!

    merely!

I can understand your frustration but you have to know this site is for exotic dancers.

What was your expectation when you made insensitive comment?

Like I replied previous thread how you stated your opinion was very crude. Everyone is entitle to his/her opinion but has to consider other factors, too.

This site exists to support strippers and you have to respect that.

I've kind of wanted to stay out of this, but I have to get this off my chest.

Look everyone, one of the things I've always liked about this board was that people with a lot of wisdom can get together and talk about a subject of interest to me with a wonderful degree of decorum. Over the last few days however, a few people and I stress a FEW, have tarnished that a bit. I'm not going to name names, because thats besides the point. ALL of us have something positive to contribute here.

I don't think Pryce would like to see the forums on Stripperweb and Strip Club Junkie devolve into the insult and slander boards that so many other MB's have become. Do we want this place to become another TUSCL? I think not.

We're all adults and I think for the most part we can discuss highly sensitive topics (race and gender issues, prostitution in clubs, extras, politics, etc.) and still be mature about it. I know these are of a sensitive nature to some members, but thats part of the world around us.

If you're going to make a post or reply to one, have some consideration that others might not take your words the way that you intended them. Its okay to feel passionate about something. But you can also convey that in a sensitive manner without outright censoring yourself.

Just the same, you should take the SAME consideration when reading someone else's posts. If that poster intended to be offensive (and that doesn't happen often), thats one thing, but if its merely a matter that you have two different perspectives and that person's wording just perhaps came across a little abrasive to you, thats entirely another. Its better to have that person explain themselves, than to simply reply in anger to what was nothing more than a misunderstanding.

I've always preferred MB's/e-mail over chat/IM for the very reason that I can check what I'm saying before I let the whole world hear it. In any case, we should all moderate ourselves and THINK before we click the "post" button. We're adults and we should act accordingly. Flaming one another is downright juvenile.

So can't we all just get along?

    Very good point dr_catfish,
it is very hard when the board becomes more populated to say a word that everyone is going to agree with. I think we need to chose our words carefuly. And in doing that, it's a hit and miss sometimes. Great post however. Thats why i am just having fun at this point. It feels good to lighten up on this board! So much mud throwing it seems lately. Bottom line, without you guys we have no job. I prefer to stay nice to all on this board.

    (Please denote the sarcasm)

Okay, I think I've finally figured out the rules of this discussion board. Customers can post here, but they are only allowed to say things that are not controversial, are entirely 100% supportive of every single dancer here, and that kiss everyone's ass. Also, if we ever say anything misguided or inappropriate, there is no room for error.
In return, dancers are allowed to tell the customers here - "fuck off", "screw you" and call them "ass", "asshole", "fucker", "rascist" and "bigot", and that is perfectly allowable. I'm glad I've finally straightened all this out. LOL.
Oh, but then when dancers post on the blue men's discussion board, they can boss us around and tell us how we are supposed to be acting in the clubs and what we can do to enjoy our experience more, like we can't figure that out for ourselves, and it is inappropriate for us to say that there is anything wrong with that.
It's one thing to respect dancers. It's an entirely different thing to be their bitch.

This is infact a stirpper board. Hence For strippers.

Having costomer opinions is great and valueble.

However.. rudeness should not be tolerated from costmers as far as im concerned on these boards.

A highly prejudicial, and biased comment, if you ask me.

Fish, the Mods or powers that be have already deleted the posts. Sometimes our members can go off on a tangent or off topic.
    (Post removed)

Amusing how, even when it comes to that point, certain members fail to understand the reasons for such moderation.

There's an unsavoury lack of acceptance for posted guidelines here, along with the aforementioned double-standard.

Aside from admin and moderator duties, it's very foolish to believe (your) opinions are any more important than the next persons.

It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

merely Lurking, i never had anything negative to say about any of you ASPD members. I brought up the topic of the mindset of Gentlemen's Club customers just so other dancers could really see firsthand what most guys are looking for from us.

i don't condemn you guys for wanting extras butwhen you make a statement such as you made yesterday stating that all asian and black dancers were unattractive to you, that is a racial slur because there are 9's and 10's of all races.

When you and all of us are open to all colors things will change for ALL OF US. When you don't spread your money around the racial arena, the entire economy suffers.

Merely Lurking, I challenge you to open you mind and heart and look around in the clubs for attractive and friendly black and asian dancers and buy a couple dances from them. Chat a bit. You'll find that an attractive and friendly black or asian girl is no different than an attractive and friendly white girl.

if you can truly open your heart to the fact that every asian girl doesn't work in an AMP and every black girl isn't ghetto acting and looking, then I can offer you my forgiveness.

Tina: I understand your comments from a humanitarian and societial point of view but the concept of private/table dances is NOT representative of all humanity or all society. It IS a fantasy that involves TWO People ...the customer and the dancer. To say that an individual customer should not HAVE Personal preferences and therefore apply his own personal preferences to his choice of a dancer is like saying that when YOU go to Baskin Robbins you should eat all 32 flavors and LIKE each one equally. Personally I am NOT Eatin Bubble Gum Ice cream for ANYBODY ...Call me a Bigoted Racist if you will But I HATE BUBBLE GUM ICE CREAM !!!!!

If this situation were reversed and we were examining the types of MEN that dancers find attractive I am POSITIVE that some preferences would show up which would hurt alot of Male feelings. But thats different now isn't it?

My only point is that we all should acknowledge that there are attractive people of every race. We all have preferences but not to cast out an entire race of people as undesireable.

As far as customers are concerned I have seen attractive guys in every race. my preference may be in guys who look like my guy does but I recognize handsomeness in all races.

Preferances do NOT equal racism. My best friend and the the best man at my wedding are black. My wife and I are currently fostering a black/cuban toddler.

But...... I am personally not attracted to black women.

Some asians do attract me and hispanic women typically scare me too bossy).

I won't apologize for spending my money on the things that I prefer. Petite blondes and redheads with all natural physiques.

Take acceptance where you find it and celebrate that rather than working to change those not interested in it.

I have a difficult time meeting ladies!

    Tre:

If there was a stripper going to a costomer board and was being rude / out of line im sure her rudeness will not be tolerated by the mod/ either that or she would piss alot of people off.. considering that board was made for the discussion of costomers and im sure if a stripper started in on a thread and running her mouth she would get ALOT of bad reactions. Biased? Sure.. untill the table is turned...

insight is great.. however unjustly rude comments = shit listed in my books

Pamela I love you sweetie. Thank you

And even though we know the rules. I will react to something that I feel is disrespectful to me. I wouldnt bit my tongue. I think this time Pryce have to put us in check or anything will go. Even though we have great moderators that could erase or edit out comments, hurtful things can be said, and will be remember. We are all grown men and women. But I not going to forget what you said merely. But I'm glad that you apologized to Hershey.

"ripping" you? sorry you seem to think that's what it was. i merely pointed out your errors in judgment call toward me in particular, my motivation for giving advice to someone who asked for it and pointed out your stereotypical and baised attitude. you didn't notice that although my advice mirrored that of many of the other customer replies, you only chose the advice of "the stripper" to comment negatively on?

Oh, but then when dancers post on the blue men's discussion board, they can boss us around and tell us how we are supposed to be acting in the clubs and what we can do to enjoy our experience more, like we can't figure that out for ourselves, and it is inappropriate for us to say that there is anything wrong with that.
ML, in some respects, i think you're not so far off the mark about moderating on this site. yes, it is geared toward dancers, but i've often found that it seems dancers can be as rude as they like toward customers but not toward other dancers (unless if the rudeness is due to a subject abhorred by the majority of posting dancers). personally, i've more negative reaction to more dancers here then i do customers. i've had many posts deleted in the past that oposed the view of another dancer that i'm sure wouldn't have been deleted if it was a customer viewpoint... i don't see that as fair or right, and knowing something i say will probably be deleted, i've given up bothering to post a reply.

on the "blue site" there's very little or no moderation at all. however, i've seen very little or any indication that dancers posting on the "blue site" are bossy, tell customers how to behave in SC's, etc. the problem is your interpretation of what is being said. the dancers there give advice on behavior to be helpful, as behavior will definitely determine how a customer is treated, and how a customer is treated will determine whether or not he'll have a good time or get thrown out on his ass. it is not the case that all customers can figure these things out for themselves... if they could, there would be no reason for customers to ask such questions and there would be no inappropriate customer behavior in clubs. for the most part, there are only very few customers on the "blue site" that take offense or even disagree with dancer statements there... in light of that fact, you'd need to look at your own way of thinking to find why it is you feel that the dancers there are bossy, etc.
