Basically a dancer gets as many breaks as she wants, but in doing so, she will be losing money. Girls who are always out to smoke a ciggy or in the back room for hours lose a ton of money.
About the strippers getting along...it really depends... where I work the girls get a long great but theres always the occasional arguments. At the club I work at, the girls always comment on, "one of the reasons i love coming here is the girls" we all get along great. Again, there are your exceptions. lol
I think lapdancesare mandaory at clubs who have them, although Pamela doesnt do them at a lapdance club. For more info speak with her. But on the most part, if its a lapdance club you will be expected to. If its a stage club, no. Etc etc
theres a huge discussion about blondes vs brunettes, vs white vs black. It SEEMS blondes make more, but you always have different guys with different tastes. I am brunette, look like the girl next door, and I make a ton of money. And I USED to dance as a blonde. :-)
    Hope I helped a bit

Boy being blonde i can't say i do better than my darker haired sisters. Blonde hair stands out and i see guys do double takes, but don't come to me for a dance, they go to someone else some times anyway.

I know the 2 owners of the one club i dance, and yes they do sell laps there, but i don't do them. If i want to make a bit of a lose and do stage shows all night and mingle for conversation i am allowed, however hustling has got to be a strong point in you to bring in money, because figure i am losing 20 dollars a lap dance, and have pressure (i feel) to make it up with more stage shows. (Actually we have a few girls who don't do laps.) One club is breathing down my back heavy to start or else....i am getting the feeling.

Anyway, For every question you have asked, ther is now a message posted about. What you should do is go to some clubs a few times and see what goes on. That may be your best "feel" for the business. We can give advice, but you may find a club where girls all like each other, or not talk to one another. These questions really depend on you and the club you pick.
    Good luck! Let us know.

    1. How many breaks does a dancer get during her shift?

Take as much time as you want on break. But remember, when you aren't working, you aren't making any money.

    2. Is it true that strippers generally don't get along with one another?

Some get along, some don't. It's just like any other sales job.

    3. Are lap dances mandatory, do u HAVE to do them?

It depends on the club. The places where I've danced, if you didn't do laps, you'd go home with less money than you came in with.

    4. Do blondes make more money then brunettes?

I'm a brunette and I've made more money than some blondes, and less than others. It really depends on how hard you work and how good your interpersonal skills are.

I'm from the NorthEast so some of my answers will be different ....

    1. How many breaks does a dancer get during her shift?

    - one 5 minute break before she's due up on stage to dance again in order to change costume, that's it! Hanging out in the dressing room or sitting around smoking alone in the club area when there are customers in the club will get you a "talking to" by the club manager. Several incidents like this will get you fired.

    2. Is it true that strippers generally don't get along with one another?

    - I'd say it goes by thirds. One third of the dancers get along with everybody in the club. Another third of the dancers get along with their own group, but don't play well with other dancers. The last third has major attitude and are constantly the source of some irritation or conflict with everybody else.

    3. Are lap dances mandatory, do u HAVE to do them?

    - technically they're not mandatory, but you can literally lose money by depending on only stage tips to cover the high stage fees and tipouts the clubs here charge dancers. It's also not good for job security, since clubs here almost always keep a percentage of private dance money so if a girl isn't doing private dances the club isn't getting a cut ... club management starts thinking "hmmm if we can only have 12 girls per shift, and one girl isn't 'producing' private dance money for the club, they could raise the club's income if they replaced her with another girl that IS a 'producer'".

    4. Do blondes make more money then brunettes?

I've tried several hair colors over the years (including my natural auburn), and by FAR the platinum blonde look results in higher earnings. I'd have to agree that this has something to do with the 'first impression factor' where guys notice a girl's blonde hair first from across the club, versus girls with darker hair. This 'first impression factor' pays dividends when the guy goes to decide who to buy a private dance from.
