    Default Scariest experience...

    Hey all-
New to this board, love all your comments! It's wonderful to see such amazing women with ambition and attitude! (In a good way.. LOL)
Anyways.. started a new club recently in SF. This Friday had some scary shit happen to me! In one of the private rooms, had a customer try to avoid paying BEFORE the dance.. obviously I will NOT dance before taking the money (who would? It's just not smart). Well, to make a long story short.. he pulls a friggin knife on me! I didn't even provoke him! Yeeeeesh what are peoples' problems these days? I was so scared I didn't even think to hit the panic button.. I just ran. Luckily, security swiftly dealt with the problem. I'll be looking over my shoulders for weeks from now on.. any girls ever have similar problems? Thanks for the support, ladies!

OMG I am so glad you're ok! That is horrible. I would be terrified. I think you did the right thing-getting away... no point in waiting for security to come rescue you... God. I'm rather speechless at this! Just glad you're alright!

I have had a gun in my face at the club before. It had nothing to do with me. There was some ongoing conflict between the customer I was sitting with and some other guy, let's just say a business dealing gone wrong. It was very, very scary. That was almost nine years ago and I haven't had anything even close to that happen since. I don't think I'd still be dancing if there had been.

I sort of had a knife pulled on me by a dancer. The knife was in her boot but rode up and was about to fall when she grapped it. Now, all I know is this lovely lady is on my lap and out comes this knife. HELLO. It funny now, but the dance ended right there and I went home to get a new pair of boxers When ever I see her, I always make sure I check her boot and we both crack up.

My scariest experience happened in South Bend, Indiana. In an upstairs room of the club near the dancer's dressing rooms, the clubowner and a few of his clubowner buddies used to have a high stakes card game a couple of nights a week. One week a couple of druggies busted through the second floor window, shot at everybody, and made off with the money on the table. One of the slugs zipped right through my dressing room while I was changing! Luckily nobody was super seriously injured, but they had to cancel the card game for a week cuz there weren't enough players released from the hospital yet. The cops were called, but of course the city hated this clubowner for appealing their dance club ordinance so the cops did nothing. Two weeks later the clubowners are having their card game again complete with crutches and bandages, and would you believe, two druggies come crashing through the window again trying to pull the same shit! Again gunshots ring out and slugs go flying through the dressing room wall (luckily this time I wasn't in it!). But this time the clubowners were packing heat of their own inside their casts and blew the two turkeys straight back out of the second floor window they came in through, and they landed on the roof of two cars in the parking lot below (and the clubowners kept blasting as the druggies were on the way down!). Just goes to show you that drugs and dancing don't mix!

Gosh ladies thank god nothing happened to you. I know some dancers got hurt by customers or other dancers by some stupid shit like that. There are times when I do think about it and be very cautious around me. I've never had any close calls but I'd pray for everyone's safety.

Two guys got into a yelling match when i worked in Lauderdale. Next thing i knew music stopped and a bouncer was going to throw them both out when the one guy said he had a gun in his t-shirt, while sticking his finger and hand inside his shirt. Then he pulled his hand out when he had everyones attention it seemed and ran out the door laughing. Nothing was in his hand. Don't know what ever hapened to him. He never came back, that i know of. Hi Bebe...
Welcome to the board! I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I hope you are o.k. in the aftermath. I am thinking of auditioning in several place in S.F. Can you tell me in what club this happened?

First club I was working at... (a place with no bouncers)...
One night, I'm hanging with a couple of customers and another dancer in the pool room. The guys are drunk, it's a slow night, they decide to play each other at pool and let us gals play cheerleader, as they are tired of getting their butts whumped by strippers. One guy took exception to the fact that the other was winning, and decides to break a pool stick over his opponents head. From there, he commences to start beating on the poor fellow with the broken pool stick. The DJ and bartender finally get called in, break it up, and send the sore loser out the door. All returns to normal, and chickie and I offer to double against the recently-attacked fellow in a pool game. Five minutes into this game, sore loser comes marching right back in with a sawed-off double-barrel shotgun, and he is PISSED... Chickie starts screaming, the good guy starts crying, the sore loser is screaming that he's going to kill all of us, I'm screaming for ANYONE in the club to help... Fortunately, someone in the bar side had seen the guy come in and used their cell to call 911 - the sheriff's department showed up in the nick of time and disaster was averted. That was the one time I can remember actually being fine with giving them their nightly free show....

Other than that, the only other scary incident I can think of us was when I was working in Florida, and a local band from my hometown showed up as customers. We got to talking, I did some laps for them, they went on their way saying they would come back later. When they came back right as I was getting off work, one of them tried grabbing me and dragging me out of the club, saying that I was going to "earn the money for their hotel for the week" for them, as they had spent all the money they came with. Thankfully, the guy was either drunk enough or stupid enough to do this under the noses of 3 large and protective bouncers... His band mates had to literally carry him back to their van after he was physically tossed out the front door in a bloody heap. Those bouncers each earned triple tip-out and a big kiss on the cheek from me that night. (One of them was shot in the arm a week later for throwing out a similarly ill-behaved individual).
