Of course!! You can dance where there are girls like you or go to a club where you are the only tall full girl. Go to some in your area and check them out. GOOD LUCK!
of course you can find a club. I have been dancing for years and I am by no means ym material because I am bigger but !!!!!! thats what i get alot of compliments about & it makes me alot of money.... my only warning I would say it to not get lazy and stop working out and keeping what you have tone since if we gain weight it tends to be a lil more noticable quicker.
Being big can be a real asset. I personally am not into big dancers, but the men at the clubs really go hog wild for the the type of dancers that you describe yourself as being.
Personally I'm more into a dancer's personality. If you've got that going on, it doesn't matter what you look like!

i would consider myself a bigger girl.
6 ft and 170, i would not consider myself slender by far but u would be surprised at the amount of customers that say, "it's nice to see a girl with some meat on her bones" as opposed to some girl who looks like she hasnt eaten in a week.
be happy not matter what u look like.
its all in your personality .
blessed be

Some guys like tiny little twigs, some like big boobs, some like "big" women...men are up for everything. i've actually been complimented on being "thick". although i don't see it as a compliment, i see it as $$!
You'll get a job~but the more you work out, the more you make![]()

I used to be what would be considered "big". I have since lost a lot of weight, but I'm by no means skinny. I would characterize my body as athletic. Anyway, prior to the weight loss, I had problems being hired. Actually, quite a number of clubs refused to hire me. Most of them didn't specify why (except for one, the manager flat out told me that I need to lose weight). What was inordinantly frustrating for me was that during auditions, I received very positive feedback from customers in the club. I almost always did quite well. And in fact, in the clubs that I did work at, I ended up giving the most lap dances by the end of the night. All that being said, it's not the customers that you have to be worried about, it's the management. They may not even let you get your foot in the door long enough to prove that customers love curvy women.
I don't mean to be rude...in fact, I find tall/curvy women to be amazingly hot (that's just my type!!!!)!!!! Your experience may be different, so I suggest saying, "fuck it," and go for it anyway. I just wanted to let you know my experience.
OH if men loved only one type of woman we would all be in trouble, as our bodies are forever changing! Yes....being thick as you call yourself makes one like me jealous of your body type. I am tall and thin, and see all types of women dancing. ( thick, it works!) Your attitude is what will make you or break you babe. You already have a body thats female!!! GO FOR IT!!!

Honey, I'm 5'5" and kind of "thick"... ok, screw the kind of, I just AM.... And I have been more than capable of making money in most of the places I have worked. There will always be some place that will hire you, because there will always be men that like you. Personally, I find that my main customer draw seems to be the ethnic guys.... Anyway, you shouldn't have any problem. Just check the places out first, and avoid any place where ALL the girls are anorexic, 5' tall Barbie replicas or some such... That would kind of clue you in as to what the management likes to hire...

I had a guy in the bar, who never bought dances from me, because as he said: "You are cute, but you are too skinny, you neeed to eat more!" And he bought big steaks for me, and gave me cakesSome guys like curvy girls better - and that's the good in this business: you don't need to be a Barbie doll to have customers - they wanna see REAL girls
Experience is one thing you can't get for nothing.
I have also had a number of customers comment that it is nice to see a dancer with a little meat on her bones - especially the older customers want a real person - not a breakable barbie doll.
