    Default Reality tv for strippers

Hey girls, I found out a couple weeks ago I was picked for a reality tv show about strippers.... Its starts tomorrow morning! They pick me up in a limo and take me to a hotel first for the night and then move into a mansion with 6 other strippes... Am I nuts? I'm seriously scared .. It hasn't been picked up yet, its only a pilot, but its by the same people who cast Survivor (the first one) and Big Brother... I'm not one to tell people I'm a dancer so this is gonna be a shock for most! Yikes... well, lets hope all goes well and these girls don't make us look bad. I have to go pack...

Good luck to you. You'll definetly have to keep us posted. I personally am very intrigued. How did they end up picking you and is there a chance for people to audition if the pilot goes through?
Have fun and keep those trouble makers in line.

I don't know very much about the show yet actually! But yeah I'm pretty sure there is a chance for other people to audition if the pilot goes through. All I know is that we're having dancing contests and stuff where people can go on the internet to vote and all that good stuff.... I don't know why they picked me... At my interview they had me dance and give a few interviews, they said I was a good talker and I actually did forget the cameras where there! I'll let u know how it goes when I get back!

    how fun!
have fun with it - you never know what kind of bookdeals, etc you can get with it if the show is a hit!

What is the gist of the show? just 6 strippers living in a mansion?...

Will they be editing out the catfights? Will they be editing in the profitable customers? Do you have any contractual clauses that say you can sue if any of the crew tries groping you in a manner impermissible within the cofines of a club? Are there free tanning beds in the bathrooms? These are important things to think about...

I first heard about the show at my club, they had fliers all over the place to go audition... There were tons of clubs that got sent the fliers I heard. I think they're going to have more auditions for the show if it does go through. I don't think its going to be on CBS though Tini, if anything fox or hbo or something a little edgier than cbs
And as far as what we're doing on the show.. yeah I guess it's probably talking about every aspect of the business and about why we dance, stuff like that. There's also gonna be lots of contests.. competing for money and prizes they said. *sigh* I am still trying to pack, the limo is picking me up at 8:30 in the morning. .. Geez, don't they realize we're dancers and those are not our hours!?!?

Is the site where the info is listed called www.realitywebcams.com ??? If this is the same thing then I wouldn't go. I tried talking to these people about getting a spot, and then I asked them to give me some more information about what was expected of me and how travel arrangements were to be made and what I should bring....etc. These people were very unhelpful. They didn't answer a single one of my questions. They wanted pictures of me and they wanted some information about me to create a bio, but they wouldn't answer my questions. Sounds pretty fishy.

Oh Gosh if thats the site I have been approached to do a show with them!!!! Is that it Phoebe??? I however declined, too many personal qestions for me. That was less than 7 months ago. The man was surley, and rather quick to get VERY personal. Please if thats the site for that company be careful. Pamela...if it is Kittie, they wanted nudes right? That is what they asked of me. Now why nude shots? For a show? And i was approached by an agent.

The site I've mentioned is NOT for a TV show. It's an internet show. They want you to live in a house and do cam shows for the public. They do have contests and stuff and you can get voted off by the viewers but it's all done on the net. There's no dancing. Just sex shows. That's probably why they wanted the nude photos, Pamela.

Now for a trip to New Orleans I would have gone and done this. Because I do cam work of my own anyway. But the people with this production were too secretive about it for me. They refused to answer some of the questions I had about it so I decided not to go.

If this is the same thing that you are talking about, then I would strongly reccomend NOT going. They just didn't seem very legit or trusworthy. Be careful.

what a smoking deal! I'd do that in a heartbeat! Often when I was on contracts over seas we had the same set up all girls in one house, with rules and conduct, so we worked together we lived together an often were isolated by cultural differences, so much SH*T went down I was often heard to be saying "what would people think if they were to be a fly on the wall throughout this whole shebang?!" We fought we laughed we plotted we got drunk --sex, lies but no video tape LOL! We cried when we had to go...some of the best memories of my life were made on those trips.
Off on a tangent there, all I really wanted to say was KUDOS!!! Good luck and persevere! We all look forward to hearing how it goes!!!

I checked out the website today Kittie, and it was in fact the website i was given. And i also had a flyer handed to me with the site on it in Lauderdale. Me personally...i did not like the way i was approached and how the man talked to me. And making it seem like i wanted and wished to be on "their" show. If it is in fact the same company, i wish Phoebe all the fun, and laughs! it just was not my cup of tea. So many of them come along when you are an entertainer, and at times you make a decision to go or not. At the time ,i was approached he knew i was a stripper, so i don't know the motive then. But what they wanted to do was put different types of people in the adult industry in the same house. Not all strippers. Would have made for a good show anyway. Pamela

Either way I'd be careful. Reality TV shows are anything but reality any more. They take normal people and put them in extreme situations & drama. They have a show, number one objective is to make $$$. They don't want to see you living normal, that want to see something outrageous...something people will tune into. Big Brother and Survivor have both been sued for creating drama and mis-representing events...I wouldn't expect this to be much different.

They quiz you to find out what you know and who you are, then mix you up with people and events that are expected to get a certain reaction out of you. Personally, I am me and I don't think anything is worth being represented as someone I'm not, INTERNATIONALLY. I am not anyone's puppet.

Sorry if I sound a bit negative, I am just continually amazed what people will do to be on TV. To each their own I suppose.
We all imagine ourselves the agents of our destiny, capable of determining our own fate. But have we truly any choice in when we rise, or when we fall, or does a force larger than ourselves bid us our direction. Is it evolution that takes us by the hand, does Science point our way, or is it God who intervenes keeping us safe.

So much struggle for meaning, for purpose. And in the end, we find it only in each other. Our shared experience of the fantastic. And the mundane. The simple human need to find a kindred, to connect. And to know in our hearts... that we are not alone.

that was NOT the show... not at all... I just got back it was so much fun and so professional. The director and crew work on actual films and do this for a living. We'll be paid $5000 for two days plus I made a ton of friends.
