    Default What do you think?

Last night my hubby and I went to check out a club I want to work at. The girls were really cool, and I had a great time, more fun than my hubby I think What I'm wondering though, is are they really that nice, or was it just cuz of all the cash on the table? I will say that even the girls we didn't get dances from seemed nice, and the ones I asked said they loved working there.

    Thoughts? Thanks!

As a paying customer any good dancer will treat people with respect and have a good time with them. It can change or not change when you get hired. When you become a dancer at the club you are crossing over from "paying customer who feeds the dancers family, to competetion." ( At times.) Best bet....remember how they all treated each other last night. Sounds like they are happy doing thier job!!! When you get hired, keep the upbeat personality they have, and you should fit right in. Some words from a woman who has danced many years: Always keep your head straight. And DO NOT ever get involved in gossip about other dancers. I can't speak for the other dancers here, only me, but i never get involved with the other dancers EVER, only to say a pleasent 'Hi and "good-bye'. I do my work, and call it a night. It keeps me out of trouble with the "trouble makers."
Hope you have a great time dancing there, and make $$$$$$ Pamela

If the girls were happy and getting along, there's probably low drama and good money at this club, so it sounds like a good bet. And if the girls at a club are surly, you will be able to tell regardless of what kind of cash you have on the table.

Pamela's right about a good dancer being nice to everyone. Just because a guy doesn't spend money on me doesn't mean he won't spend it on someone else, and vice versa, so everyone should be treated well. If that's the standard operating practice at this club, it sounds like a good, professional place to work. Have fun and good luck!

There is Always drama but the good Clubs usually keep it in the dressing room. I agree with Pamela and Colette that the best course is to be "friendly" but not really friends with the other dancers. The best way to stay out of the "drama" is to stay out of the dressing room. Find a customer to sit with even when its dead slow rather than getting into the pity party that other dancers may be having.
