I thought they stop doing the prefilled inplant surgery.
I have implants 2 years ago and I was barely an A cup. I'm 5'4" and 105 lbs. I took the dr's advice and am now almost a full c cup (had them put under the muscle), but after 6 weeks, one went flat and I had to have it done again. It was a pain, not nearly as painful as the first go-around, but still annoying. Now, I have to get them done again because the bags have fallen below the muscle and you can see all the ripples of the bag. They hurt often too. It's very disheartening because I don't want to dance unless everything's perfect. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether I should dance to earn the money to get them done again now, or wait to dance until I get them done and they are perfect before I dance?

That is entirely up to you and how confident you feel about yourself. However, it is unusual that you have experienced that many complications in your two years of having them. Have you always gone to the same Doctor each time? I would maybe suggest that this time going to see a different surgeon, it can make all the difference. I knew another dancer with the same type of complications and she finally went to a different Doctor and she is fine now. Her implants were originally under the muscle but her first Doctor cut her muscles wrong and her implants kept falling into her armpit and became painful. She now has them over the muscle, because of scar tissue that caused her discomfort, and silicone gel implants. Silicone gel implants are usually, I've never seen them any other way, pre filled. Which makes small incisions that leave no scars, difficult. If you do go this route, really shop around. I've seen some Doctors leave huge awful scars while others absolutely no scars, ie. Dr. Gray. Good Luck and I hope that this next time you have much less pain and better experience![]()
Thanks for the advice. This Dr. Gray sounds wonderful! I am also now seeing a different dr since this will now be the 3rd time around. The other dr basically screwed up twice now and since I've spent so much money already, even though it's more money down here, it's worth it to get it done right this time. I don't want to have to go through it again.
Let us know when you have yours done. Oh, and they aren't kidding, make sure you have someone with you for the first 48 hrs. I couldn't set up by myself the next day.
Best of luck!

That site is VERY outdated and vague...there is many more current and more informative sights out there...so that anyone interested can find current informative facts about breast surgery.
I am kind of in the same boat. I want to get implants, I am 5'10 and a 36B.
They just aren't as perky as they used to be. I don't want them too big, just a little bit firmer and perkier. I am scared that they won't come out right. I don't know what to do, help me help me please!!!!

Don't freak out.As long as you do your research, you will be alright.Originally Posted by sxcdee
