astrocyte,
i don't mean to be rude either...but a lot of those pick up lines are just that...pick up lines. guys think they work when they are trying to get into a girl's pants. first, girls don't have to work hard to get into guys pants, and second we're trying to get into their wallets--not their pants. i don't think they would really work in a club setting...as far as i know. if i was a customer i'd be kinda pissed if a stripper promised to make my bed rock, take my clothes off, ride my rocket...etc. and didn't follow through.
after saying something like that, how can you ask for a dance, which seems insignificant in comparison?
i'd feel like i'd be cheating men, promising something i wouldn't actually want to give. i'm not saying all men would take me seriously, maybe they'd giggle...but then where's the segue into normal convo? "my ass is sore from not being fucked all day"...so what's your name...are you from around here? it doesn't really work.
saying semi-raunchy things are fine with me, as long as the man understands that it's nothing more...but how can you walk up to a man you don't know (who you may or may not want to give a dance to) and ask him to put his bone in you without causing a big misunderstanding?
and if he says no, i don't want word being passed around that i'm a sleazy dancer.
maybe i sound really stupid and prude saying all this, and i know your intentions are goodbut it seems to me that this wouldn't work on the nicer men i actually want to dance with~who enjoy my company..and aren't just waiting for an opportunity to ask me how much for a bj...not to insult you by any means but it seems like the only men who would fall for those cheezy lines would be (for the most part) cheap college guys and sleazy guys.
