I don't think there is a particular state that makes more money than the other. I think earnings in Vegas and New York can be higher, however it is also a tougher market. More hustle. More girls. More competition from better looking girls. You also have to deal with the fact that there are more extras going on, so you will be asked about those a lot more, but not expected. If you take care of yourself, hustle, have a good attitude, don't get drunk, don't get involved with club drama, treat it as a job, then you can do well in a place like Vegas. It is not $1000 every night here, but if you put in the hours and work hard, it can be close.
I think you should ust pick a place for what it can offer besides work....whatever it is you want in a city. If you find you can make a decent living dancing there, go!
I'm kind of in that boat myself....Philadelphia is dreadful and one of the great things about dancing is the ability to pick and change jobs relatively easily. I'm thinking North Carolina or something, but I'm not ready to move.

I thrive on change, stuck in a rut here for so long I'm beginning to go mad... not kidding. Ready or not I'm outta here (San Antonio) next week.
The problem this time is that I don't have a strong desire to move to a particular city. I'm leaning towards Philly because I've got family there; but yes Emily, I sense it'll be dreadful.
Heidi don't you live in NJ? There are so many clubs within' this state that you can bank in. We have girls coming from Canada and Florida to work there. Here are some good clubs you should try in the NJ area.
GGR Lawrence Harbour (if you can deal with contact)
Titallations Bloomfield
AJ Secaucus
Delilahs South Amboy, Philadelphia
Shooters 22 Union
Sation Dolls Lodi
Lace Wayne
Privelege NYC
NY Gentelmen's Club NYC
Flashdancers NYC
Try those before moving believe me. The rest of the US money isn't flowing like it used to so it's best to find the best near were you live.
Naomi, if you move up here, the money is okay, but the weather, the people, the traffic....SUCKS.
I have to admit, I think it'd be so cool if you and I worked at the same club., or at least if I can see you dance. I feel like I'm friends with all you guys.

Thanks Emily, I think I'm gonna just go visit for a month or so before I decide. I go up there almost every year; but never worked so I'll have to try it out.
It's a small world; yet the only member I've danced with, actually for as she came in on her night off, was jennymodel in Austin. I'll send you a PM once there and you can tell me what club to go to. It'll be nice to see a familiar face, and the way you hustle I know you'll keep me motivated.![]()

Philly is a great town - I was born there. However, I probably love it because I have lived in New Jersey all my life, and havent had to deal with everyone in Philly on a regular basis (and I have yet to visit a SC there, either).Naomi, if you move up here, the money is okay, but the weather, the people, the traffic....SUCKS.

I guess I am biased though. I consider myself a Jersey Philadelphian - I like both places.
Well, I grew up in Las Vegas and went to college in western, MA. Philadelphia just doesn't compare, but it's obviously not THAT bad![]()
As for me, I'm making my way up to Philly in a few months to visit my friend and dance at her club.![]()

I danced in Philadelphia all last year and like Emily said the money isn't bad but the weather and traffic are the worst! I had to drive from Wayne to philly 4 times a week on a road called the "Skookall", I'm sure I spelled that wrong. But it was the most horrible commute ever. I only lived 25 miles to work and it sometimes took me an hour and a half to get into the city on that damn street. Many of the clubs make you write a schedule a month in advance! The people varied depending on where you lived. The care free personalities I was used to in Florida was replaced in Philly by a very serious type of people. I did like how family oriented people were. And how education and intellect were encourged. There was a huge class distinction among people there as well. If you came from money or not and if you went to the proper school or not. Some of the Best schools in the nation are up there. I noticed a more intelectual snobbery there as opposed to Florida where how you look determines how snooty your allowed to act. Kinda funny! I really never had worked with so many girls that had such a great work ethic and just really interesting types. But one thing I did find pretty strange was how so many people there made such a Big deal about going to the Jersey Shore. During the summer there was like a huge exodus to New Jersey! To go to the beach. Now, I don't know if that many of you have seen the New Jersey beaches but they are certainly nothing to write home about. The way everyone acted was if they were going to the Bahamas or something. Although, "Cape May", and "Avalon", wern't too bad.

Thats not a bad thing ,having family values and them putting great emphasis on itellect and education,I live in florida and personaly thats what I hate about it,I have lost all sence of family value, forget education because everyone dances and shows their bodies in florida ,thats more important, infact, all I personaly know is how too make money off my looks and yes the better looking in florida you are the more you get and get away with, personaly,I wish I never came to this stupid state, give me values and the happiness ,just to go to the shore in the summer,I would love not to take things forgranted like the northerners, give me that anyday.

I think a lot of people take forgranted what the area that they live in has to offer. I didn't realize how much I loved Florida untill I left and came back. I will never take forgranted the beautiful beaches, beautiful weather, and oh of course the beautiful people. People either love Florida or hate it. I love it.
Now to get back to this thread. Honestly, to make the best money has less to do with the state your in but more a combination of your attitude and the club. So it's more you're emotional state rather than your geographic state.

There are also MAJOR financial considerations besides "gross earnings" available at particular clubs if you are considering a permanent move. You've got state and local income taxes (assuming you report your income), you've got state sales taxes (which you simply can't avoid), you've got cost of living issues such as the market price of houses or apartments, electricity and phone, gasoline, parking & tolls, groceries etc.
Being able to double your "gross income" at a NYC club, for example, does NOT mean that you'll have twice as much left over after paying higher taxes and higher costs for necessary living expenses.
Kobi I agree with stuff u have said, but I am wondering at CH2 on a great night there what is the $$$ potential if u hustle? I travel occaisonally been to Vegas last year worked at Sapphires ,SR, did not think it was all that I thought! I work in Philadelphia and I am a hustler, but its gotten worse $$$$ wise, just wndering if the$$ is pretty much the same out there! I need a change and was gonna try it again. I have danced for 7 years and the $$$ now has changed alot! At least Philly has! just curious if the big $$$ is still possible out there? THANKS!

Sydney, If you hustle hard and have good looks and personality, and work an 8 hour shift, you can make $1000 and over on a weekend usually. Weekdays are probably $600 and over given the same circumstances.
I agree with Kobi, I am a hustler and I have a exotic babydoll face, but the money seems to be getting worse by the days. (I live in Baltimore) But, I plan to leave after my surgery.

Hi girls. I've been a member on this board for a while, but this is my first post.
This subject compelled me to respond. I can't say for sure which state you can make the most money in, but if your in a "rut" or unhappy with your present situation, I'd say move based on having a better overall quality of life in addition to the dancing income.
I have danced in Philadelphia for 2 years and in Northern New Jersey for almost a year and I have decided to relocate to Atlanta. I'm actually leaving in a week I'm very exciting.I am SO tired of this area and I wanted a change. I went to Charlotte, NC first to check it out, but I unfortunately didn't like it so that relocation spot was scrapped. I went to check out a graduate school, the vibe of the city, and the strip clubs. The clubs were SO slow!!!
I would have settled for at least what I make up here.
For me the earning potential of the club is not the highest priority as I will only be dancing for another two years. I'm going for the good education I'll be receiving and the quality of life in Atlanta. However, it's a plus for me that there is, from my experience, more money in the clubs down there than up here. Plus the cost of living is reasonable and you get so much more for your money. Everything is cheaper school, insurance, etc. I think these are things to take into consideration for anybody who's looking to relocate. How happy your going to be overall including the club's earning potential, is really what's important.

Candice, I had to chuckle at your Jersey Shore comments. My current stage name is "Avalon" and I'm getting married on the beach in Cape May this summerYou can take the girl outta Philly but you can't take the Philly outta the girl!
Also true about intellectual snobbery. I think it has to do with the climate: warm places like FL, CA, AZ give people the incentive to want to look good in skimpy clothes.
I've posted before that I love the vibe of the Phoenix clubs. Very minimal contact, decent earnings, and low cost of living. I've even stopped my weekend trips to Vegas because I can make the same net profit here with much less bullshit to deal with...(i.e. higher contact, more competition)
I consider decent earnings to be 100/hour or more. Although I rarely work more than a 4 hour shift, I pulled 2 doubles this weekend (my "double shift" is 8 hrs) and was able to maintain my hourly average.

Britney,
Wow! Getting married in "Cape May". I'm sure it will be BEAUTIFUL. When I was there it was the one and only time that I felt at home in the North East. An Abundance of Victorian Gingerbread houses and quaint B&Bs and the town center with wonderful resteraunts and shops. It was gorgeous! It was so clean, peaceful, and quiet. Congrats!

Naomi, I know what you mean, I used to move every 4-7 months. Then I moved here and bought a house and here I am.
I liked Tucson, it was a very happy place to live and within easy travelling distance of Vegas, Pheonix, LA, El Paso, etc.
The right parts of Philly are nice, but I wouldn't want to live there...
Lena
I live in the King of Prussia area, which is about 30 minutes from center city Philly....it's nice out here, and if you like to shop, the King of Prussia mall is TO DIE FOR.
But...I'd really like to move. I don't know where. I own my house, so it's not practical to get up and move unless I really know what I want to do.
And Cape May is really nice....I'm sure it'll be beatiful, "Avalon".

This is for anyone that knows about the King of Prussia Mall.
"Ode to the Court at the King of Prussia Mall"
"ahhhhhhhh! The King of Prussia mall. The only place where I felt spiritual oneness with the Goddess of shopping! As I approached the heavenly doors of the temple of retail I felt her warm embrace wrapped gently around the tools of my worship...........Visa and MasterCard. We were "one"worshipping at every alter paying homage to those gods "Gucci", "Cartier", 'Versace". I know that when it is my time for me to leave this mortal coil I know I will be revered and envied by lesser gods but yet respected for my diligence. Oh how I long to walk the hallowed halls of the
"Court", of King of Prussia.

I grew up in Delaware County, and I remember before the "Blue Route" opened, my mom would drive over an hour on 202 (stop, go....stop, go) to get to King of Prussia mall
