    Default BritneyIreland, please read.

Hi, you have been very helpful, and I hope you don't mind some more questions.

I have called the manager Taylor Kessler tonight (like 5 times, before some lady told me he's too busy; she was funny, every time I called instead of good bye she'd finish with a loud either AHA, or AYE; and then I was funny, cause when she said to call after 7, my clock was showing 8:15, so it took me a minute to remember the time difference, turned out it was 6 there). I asked if I could email my picture, and she said no, better fax it. Well, I've seen what faxing does to other people's pics. They look nothing like themselves, all dark, harsh. I told her this, she said to still do it. Should I? I look better in person than in pictures even before they're distorted. Should I risk it? Or should I take another risk and just fly out there and go in try my luck?

Also, how far exactly is Tempe Christie's from Phoenix club? I'm asking cause you mentioned that it's better/safer to stay in a hotel in Tempe and drive to Phoenix. How long would a drive be, and would a cab ride be feasible and inexpensive, or is it too far and car is more practical? Is it easy to drive/find places there/ find parking for someone directionally challenged? Are those hotels across Tempe's Christie's really are close to the club? I really gotta consider it all. If Phoenix doesn't want me maybe Tempe will? Is it easier to be hired there?

Oh, and - Christie's is a gown club now? Well, I have 3 gowns, 3 robes, a few knee length dresses, few minidresses, couple bikinis and a few 2 piece outfits (not to mention booty shorts and lingerie type stuff), as well as 2 pairs of 6" heels, clear and black. What will fly? Is there a place to buy more if needed (and do gowns also run in the $100's there)? And what hair is the best, like colorwise, style, wild and curly, or straight? Maybe I can email you my pic and you can tell me if I'm anything like the girls there or other club? It's ok if not. Thank you so much in advance still! Blu.

Are you aware that you can email board members via this site (there's a link on top of the screen)? Maybe you could contact britneyireland that way.

I can't give you any answers about the interworkings of the club itself but as a resident of nearby Scottsdale and a frequent Christie's customer I can fill you in a bit on the area. The Tempe's Christie's and the Phoenix Christie's are about 10 miles apart, you would honestly probably be better off renting a car than taking a cab. As for finding your way around, this is a pretty easy area to find your way around in, they actually had a lot of forsight as far as street planning down here (i.e. stick to the main roads and you'll be fine as they are pretty well blocked off).

Don't let britneyireland scare you too much about the neighborhood either (for the Phoenix club), it's for the most part an industrial part of town and while I'm willing to bet most of the girls don't live anywher close, the fact that it's also close to the airport also assures you that there are some decent hotels fairly close by (another benfit to working there, lots of traveling businessmen stopping by).

Oh and by the way it's mid 70's and sunny today, great place to spend the winter months . Good luck, I hope all works out well for you.

Blu, PM me for any specifics about yourself or anything that you don't think is public interest.

As for getting hired, NASCAR was in town this weekend and it was CRAZY!!! I have never seen the place so busy, the manager truly didn't have time to talk to you. We were also under-staffed, so talking to some gal in Mass wasn't his top priority

You need a full length gown for stage. A robe will do if it is glamorous. Christie's likes variety, so if you've been hired at other "picky" clubs, you will probably be fine. There aren't very many dancer stores in town, but the "dress guy" sets up his rack in the dressing room on weekends.

As Richard said, the two clubs are about 10 miles apart, 7 mins driving time. Phx club is relatively safe. I've left my car there overnight after drinking too much champagne, and it's been there in the morning. It would probably be cheaper to rent a car on a weekly rate than it would be to pay cab fare each day. Phx is like LA, very spread out and lacking reliable public transit. Cab fare from Tempe to the Phx club would run about $15-20 one way. The entire valley is a grid, all the streets run North/South or East/West. Very easy to navigate.

Last year, December wasn't very busy. I'd wait til the January when the Phoenix Open and the Jackson Barrett car auctions roll into town.

Otherwise, PHX just like any other major city: traveling businessmen on weekdays and bachelor parties on weekends. If you are a good hustler you can turn 10-20 dances on the main floor per hour if you keep moving. VIP tops out at $200/hour, but more often than not you get 2 or 3 hours since it's relatively inexpensive compared to NY or Vegas.
