    Default south for the winter

i am in ny & looking to start my trip down south (fl maybe?) for the winter.

i am a rivethead (can look more like an old skool 50s pinup) with betty page style hair, nipple & genital piercings, quite a few tats and many facial piercings (i can take the facial piercings out for work)

i really like playing my own music (industrial) at work.

i am ok with some contact (currently i work in a club with a you can touch them, they cant touch you policy that is strictly enforced) i am only comfortable with customers touching my arms, legs and back and butt (i really want to keep my piercings intact, thank you) and i dont mind touching their chest or something, but down below is a no-no. i refuse to touch my twat on stage (unless i have thong on) i just find this horribly vulgar. i have done some two girl shows (we dont eat each other out- we just kiss on the lips) and i do more experimental stuff like hot wax, shower shows & bdsm shows.

dance style: my butt cheeks dont flap. i hate rap music. get used to it.

as far as club workers: i would like a good security system who will have my back. i am tired of punching out of control customers or hitting them with beer bottles. i want to be walked out to my car at night, and not have to worry if ill be shot.

i dont drink or use drugs (except cigarrettes & cappucino) and i really have no patience for coworkers or my boss criticizing my decision.

i am looking in the florida area. i read some reviews and am under the impression that miami is high contact (not my thing). how is tampa area? my friend warned me that people like me arent very accepted in jacksonville, is this true?
i also am looking into georgia (another friend told me it is very segregated) and new orleans (i was warned from friends that they found new orleans unsafe for a girl by herself)
do you need a license to work in any of these states?
if you know of a club that would take my type. please send me a private note with the information and it will be greatly appreciated. also any information on the living standards in the area (rent, parking, local culture) would be appreciated as well.

    Toxic... I feel you!!

I'm a total "punk rock prom queen" myslef (That's a song by the way!) and I had good luck at the Masters in the Atlanta/Marietta area. It's a nice club, pretty good money, not huge and as for the music.. you can make requests to the DJ and he'll pretty much play what you want within reason. Not a lot of diversity but there is a pretty good mix of dancers both race and personality! It's fun, minimal contact BUT... you have to get this permit thing and it costs $250 (last time I was there.) I worked there for a summer before I moved to Boston and it was decent. Check out the website!! and GOOD LUCK!

PS- the dj was flex. on my music but I brought a lot of my own. I got away with some industrial but mostly danced to things like the clash, morrisey, johnny cash, the pixies, that type of stuff!!
