I'm taking a little trip to Memphis next weekend and as I always do when I travel I plan to check out the stripper stores. Anyone have any recommendations? And for any other cool shops as well.

When are you coming exactly? Are you planning to dance??
I work in Nashville but the girls there know where the good shops are so I'll ask around and PM you with the details!
when i lived in memphis i dont even remember there being any dancer stores. i always got all my stuff (and still do sometimes) from cindy there. her number is 901 566-9243. i have stuff i bought from her over 5 years ago that still looks great. she goes out to the clubs but im sure if you called she would meet you or tell you where she will be that night. has some awsome unique stuff.
As quoted by Luckyone:
I asked directions from a genie in a bottle of jim beam and she lied to me.

Well, we'll see if I can talk my friends into hitting a club or two while I'm out there. I guess I'll have to keep my shopping to souvenirs while I'm there.

I was born and raised in Memphis and they have costume stores.
Christals is in the 2700 block of Perkins by Mall of Memphis. They have several more locations since I moved from there. Fantasy Warehouse also, and check and see if Betty's is still there in the 1800 block of Madison I believe. She has consignment stuff on one side and dancer costumes and shoes on the other. On White Station Rd and Summer check for another place.
Bettys moved to Union Avenue across from Starbucks on the third floor, no cosignment all dancewear, club clothes and shoes. Funkie Feet doesn't sell dancer stuff anymore. Cindy is at Christie's Cabaret @ Winchester and Mendenhall most weeknites so you can just go to the club and tell them that you came to see Cindy and they'll let you right upstairs. Mr. Wayne from Nashville is at Gold Club @ Summer and White Station every Friday. Christals are spread throughout the city, but have lots of Leg Avenue stuff but also have some quality dance stufff. Also, Cheech ( I think thats it) has his own store inside of Platinum Plus that you can go and buy from and he has tons of stuff, clothes, shoes, money bags, you name it.
As for other cool shops: Funkie Feet has lots of cool shoes and clothes, she's having a great sale right now since she is relocating to Atlanta the shop is at Bellevue and Parkway. From downtown go down bellevue til it changes to Elvis Presley Blvd and its on the right w/a big green awning with footprints above it. Bettys is also good for regular clubbing outfits and fuck me shoes. Thats all I can think of b/c I hardly ever go to the malls at home, but the Wolfchase galleria mall has lots of good stores. I order most stuff from people like Betty or the owner of Funky Feet, and sellers I meet at tradeshows.
