Anyone hear anything about this club? It used to be the Golden Moon for years, but had BAD management.
I know it's a tiny little place but I'm really not looking to pay someone to work or travel an hour or over.
Anyone?

Hmmm ... a club with a $6 beer and wings special should really draw those big spending customers.
Actually, I checked it out, it's under totally new management and ownership. The owner used to own Diamond Dolls (I think) in FL. Too many people judge a book by it's cover, and I personally have made a lot more money in smaller bars where there is less competition then larger ones with a million and one dancers to choose from. Smaller bars are usually less stressful too, for the dancers and the customers.
Also, being the only club centrally located within quite a few towns, it's a great location.
That's true, justagirl.
Personally, I looked at the ad and saw a club I might be happy working in. Atmosphere is a big deal, and different dancers prefer different ambience. I find myself more comfortable in semi-formal clubs that are just a notch under super formal-business casual I think it's called. I like them because they have wings specials and poles and girls having as much fun as they are making money. In my experience, high paying customers come into these places too. And I've noticed that rich men as customers won't make me rich. Why don't you try it out as a customer? I do that before I work at any club.

My experience is the same. Neither Louisville nor Indianapolis has what could be called show clubs. But, in both cities I made bank in the business casual/union working class clubs. Those guys have money and tend to appreciate someone who works hard too.In my experience, high paying customers come into these places too. Your advice to check out a club as a customer is excellent. I did the same thing myself, after the first club I auditioned at. Live and learn, that's what makes this forum so helpful is we all don't have to repeat the same mistakes.
