    Default Alaskan clubs

    Hi Ladies!

I have been planning a trip to Alaska later this summer and was hoping to do a little dancing while in the state.
    Any recommendations?

    Thank you,
    Delilah

    Hi Delilah,

Where in Alaska are you going? I'm from AK, but haven't danced there in over five years...

In Anchorage the Bush Co was high class, low contact, high volume in the summer. Tourists and hunters and trappers in from the bush to blow the money they were out there making all winter all by themselves with no women. I've heard that it's gone downhill since there's been a change in management.

PJ's is the local high class dive bar. They pay I think like $400 a week, and you can stay in a trailer (haven't seen them so can't vouch for them) for $25/week.

I've been hearing noises about the borealis beach club, outside Anchorage, but it definitely has it's location going against it.

In Fairbanks, the Showboat and Reflections II were the two bigger clubs when I was there. I wouldn't recommend working in Fairbanks, tho if you're going to alaska you definitely should see Fairbanks and the rest of the interior.

If you intend to work at Bush I would go now as by the 3rd or 4th week in September business form tourists drops off.

I worked there from the end of July 2000-Dec 6th 2000.

I worked at Showboat in Anchorage, it is the same compnay as the one in fairbanks, and I hate th eshowboat the guy who owns it is a pimp. Anyways the girls there are alright though, they used ot come down and dance in anchorage sometimes and they sia dhtey made good money. But I just wouldnt' recommend the showboat.

I recommend Fantasies on fifth in anchorage, good money the stage is kind of small but you only go up a ocuple times a night they have like 20-40 girls anight. and no drink hussle(unlike showboat) and pay out is good.

Bushcompany is cool I wans't old enough to work there but I always heard good thing

I like to work at Bush Co, the fishermen are there and with a big wad of cash and nowhere else to really spend it!! It has dropped some, but it has in most places
