Default What I need to do to dance in Vegas?

    Hi Ladies!

I was wondering what I need to do/get in order to dance in Vegas. I'm not a nubie to the business, just dancing in Vegas. I've heard I need a card or something and I need to tell the police department that I was hired by a place? Is this correct? And that I need to go to a hole in the wall club to make sure they will give me the ok to get a card if I will work for them? These are all things that I've heard. So anyone that works there or knows what to do could you please guide me in what's needed to do?

From what I've read...I know Vegas can be slow at times and it probably is now. I'm just planning on going up there for a few days during the week. So is Jag's doing the best business right now in most people opnion? Is about $200 and average to make during a day shift of 5-6 hours. I don't know? Any info that any one can provide is much appreciated!

    Thanks so much!

I live in Vegas and I know you'll need to get a sheriff's card first-I also don't think Jag's is the best place for you-I know sherri's cabaret is hiring now and OG is always hiring-another new club pleasures is hiring too
    guess who's back? back again

What place should I stop by to ask for employment. Should I just go to the club I would like to dance for see if I get hired get my slip from the clubs H.R. office and then get the Sheriffs card?

Also...why don't you think Jag's is good? Too much contact or not good money? My friend is going up to Vegas first. She's a really pretty petite asian girl and I'm brazilian. Do ethnic girls do better at certain places?

I suggest going to any lower end club- they will probably hire you on spot and give you the referral and then you can go directly to get your sheriff's card. Everyone I know says it is much easier to get hired and put on a shift right away at the better clubs if you already have your work card when you audition.
If you prefer a lower contact environment I suggest Club Paradise - I worked out there a few years ago and that was the only place I could handle contact wise- but Jag's and a few other places went open then so...... The GM at Paradise back then, was Dennis Degorri ( sp) not sure if he is still there but anyway he trained my favorite manager who I worked with for a long time- Dennis really knew his stuff imho- and Ienjoyed working shifts there.
Hope that is of some help.

    amayaz,
Hi hear is the info you need to get started. You must have a work card to dance. To obtain a work card

    1. Stop by a stripclub any stripclub and ask for a referral you might even go to a couple clubs just so you can size up the club and management. This is not going to be an issue they will give you the referral.
    2. Bring your drivers lisence, SS card, and Birth certificate
    to
    Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department
    601 E. Fremont St
    Las Vegas, NV
    702-229-3271 Open M-F 8am-4pm

As far as a club to work at with a good day shift. Anabolic mentioned OG's you might also try Spirament Rhino or Crazy Horse 2. I have heard Spirament Rhino advertise their lunch quite a bit. Shop around till you feel comfortable.

I make the most money during the wee morning hours around 3 or 4am. The clubs aren't packed but the guys are just drunk enough to part with their $$. I used to dance at Little Darlings or the Deja Vu, but they like to charge ALOT!!
