    Default Audition Gear

    Hey ladies,
I think i've gathered the courage for my first audition but i have no idea what to wear, so i need your help.
Also, how many inches do the heels have to be and how long do they take to break in (i've only walked in three inches or less)?
i have a store in mind that sells dancer wear and i know they'd be helpful, but i'd like to hear your input.

platform shoes 6 inches and higher are the sexiest and thay are actually easier to walk in then you thin because the fonts are elevated as well so you foot is more level, and you might want to scratch them up or put non slip things on the bottom of them as for an outfit it would depend on what kind of club it is,gown ect,try to look classy, my favorite outfit the one I make the most and feel the most comfortable in is a little black playboy flair dress, and I like to wear a leopard hat w/ it you can get those at claires boutiqe, hats are sexy and get you noticed, and school girl outfits too, look on how cool .com for some nice shoes and outfits at good prices.

The first question is, what are you auditioning for? Michele's rule for heel height is universal-six inches or above. Platforms help with shock absorbency, as they are easier on the ankles.

If you are auditioning for a house-girl position, I would suggest a costume you are comfortable with and can get on/off easily. Wear a big smile too! Follow the guidelines of the club. Is it a "gown" setting? Wear something that doesn't itch or irritate your skin. If it is a blue-collar bar, a nice bikini is fine as long as you are confident with your body. Dont forget the accesories.

If you are auditioning to qualify for a contest, be prepared to make everything ornate. I can only help in this department but so much---this forum has tons of experts.

    Best of luck, Miss HotChocolate!

Make sure to wear a stripper thong! I cringe whenever I see girls audition in underwear. It looks unprofessional and it's a dead giveaway that you're a newbie.

I would not go with platforms. I think those are "newbie" looking. If you can manage, do with stiletto heels. They're more sexy looking.

Call the club and ask. Some clubs have heel height, thong and outfit requirements.
