If you mean London UK,then the answer is pretty quiet.
London has become saturated with very expensive , upmarket 'table side dancing clubs' (no one uses the 'S' word ), and there are basically too many girls in too many clubs ,paying too high house fees and chasing too few genuinely high spending customers,to be able to consistantly make good money.
95% of places are really aimed the corporate entertainment market, with high dance prices (the going rate is £20 - about £32 approx) with drinks costing usually about £5 or £6 ($9) for a bottle of beer, and VERY strict dress codes ,they are only really catering to a very small percentage of the population.
London clubs are really dependent on bankers and traders from the financial district for their custom and in the last two years the majority of investment banks and other financial institutions have been laying off thousands of staff and reducing bonus payments and expense accounts for those who remain.
This combined with the general dip in the economy and a proliferation of these 'upscale' type establishments, mean that the majority of places are never really that busy.
In case you don't know 95% of places are fully nude and everywhere serves alcohol. The dances are all strictly no contact - the authorities insist on there being a distance of 3 feet between the dancer and the customer and while all clubs have to work under these same restrictions, at the end of the day customers will never spend as much money on air dances.
From the point of dancer earnings potential the best place to work at is Stringfellows in Covent Garden.
.. now if you meant London in Canada,then I haven't a clue.
Woops .. I meant £20 = $32 ,obviously.,with high dance prices (the going rate is £20 - about £32 approx)

How would one go about working in London? Can one do it as a working holiday - would I (as an Australian hence part of the Commonwealth) need a visa to work there? Can I get away with working there for one month without a visa?
Does anyone know any details they can pass onto me?

Legally, you would need a visa to work there. However, Australians and Canadians are able to obtain 6 month working holiday visas. From what I've heard, these sort of visas are fairly easy to obtain. You do not need to already know where and when exactly you will be working or any of that. You also have to be between the ages of 17 and 28 to obtain this type of a visa. It is then valid up to two years after the date of issue. Here's a website with some more info: www.britain.org.nz/vpass/workhols.html. Hope this helps somewhat! Also, Bridgtte had posted a lot of info for me in an earlier post. I'll try to find that and post a link to that thread here, as well.

A large number of Canadians I know never used a visa and work there off and on all the time. Stringfellows.
Many just flew there on their own accord and went in - no problems. I would imagine it could work the same for you? Maybe call ahead? Or talk to someone you know thats been already? Theres another website called nakedtruth.ca where many of the girls have been on this London trip that are registered on that site and post those boards. Sunny Delight being one of them, perhaps register and PM her over there?
Good luck, and if you go have some fun London is wacky! LOL!

Never explain yourself to anyone, because the person who likes you doesn't need it and the person that dislikes you won't believe it.
More info on London for anyone interested :
With regards to the previous post - out of interest ,why do you think London is wacky ?
