Which of these three Vegas clubs seems to provide higher earnings potential? Want to work in Vegas, but not certain where. I'm a good hustler, and can tolerate light-moderate contact.

They are ALL the same these days.
Unfortunately, Vegas isn't upholding the "gentlemen only" idea at "gentlemen's clubs"
Jags and Sapphire's are absolutely gorgeous multi-million dollar facilities...but they don't uphold any type of dresscode. So, you end up having a really posh club with gangbangers in with their baggy jeans and baseball hats. Very over-rated, but since Sapphire's is the newest club in town it's getting all the first-timer checking it out.
Jags has been DEAD as a doornail. It was only really good for the first few months it opened. I haven't heard much about Sapphires except that it's overrated. These two places have less contact than CH2 and you have to be 21 to work there.
CH2 is really hard to get hired at these days. They allow girls under 21 to work there and are oversaturated with all the underage girls that can't get hired elsewhere in the city. They also take your sheriff's card so you can't work at any other club (most of the clubs up there just put a sticker on the back)
OG is still my favorite club in Vegas. I've tried them all, but I still end up there. It's the cheapest to work at at the most consistent...(although a tad more contact than sapphires and jags)
As for fees Jags is $60 (it might be $80 now, I've heard rumors) but no other tip out required. I'm not sure about Sapphires. CH2 is $55 plus 15% tip out to the manager. OG is $35 no tip out required.

Hi britney,
I know you are a dancer, not a DJ, but I have been thinking of trying out the DJ scene in Vegas, so I thought I'd ask you about it. I am an artist, so I'm not out to go right to the top or whatever. I don't really care about the money as much as I do having more artistic freedom. I have found that if they let me play & say what I want the money comes in eventually anyways.
I do much better in the 'gentleman's club' places, but I detest the slick, cheesy DJ style a lot of these places like to use. If the club cares about its dancers I usually do better as I really try to find songs they can get excited about, and put on a better show. (Why is it that most of these managers don't get it?!) Guys would rather see a woman dancing her heart and soul out, as long as you keep the music mixed up, and its not that damned hard to do.
My friend just bought a house there, so I have a place to stay if I decide to visit or move there. He has been telling me I could make way more money there. Can you recommend a nicer place that doesn't have a lot of stupid rules and ego wars, if it exists (none do here, LOL)?

I don't know the politics of DJing up there. Most of the clubs seem to follow the format of classic rock mixed with techno and house before 10, predominantly trance, techno, and house from 10-2 and then tapering back to a mix of rock after that. As for artistic freedom...ya got me.
As for money: the DJ in Vegas isn't the guy you tip out a lot to. In smaller clubs it's been customary to tip 10% to the dj, some had a $20 minimum...so the DJ banked no matter what. However in Vegas, there are so many stages and over 100 dancers a night. Most of the time the dancers don't even show up to their stages because they're traveling and will probably use a different stage name the next night. Although I always leave at least $5, the majority of girls don't. At Cheetah's and Jags we aren't allowed to tip the DJ and he's (supposed) to refuse tips.
The market is oversaturated with clubs, so I don't think finding a job would be that hard. Try some of the smaller clubs like Diamond Girls, Showgirls, DejaVu, Glitter Gulch, Rick'sTally Ho, Wild J's. They might give you the artistic freedom that you are looking for while the bigger clubs might stifle it.
Hope I was of any help!

No, not TH. The club uses a jukebox for a dj. You might want to look into DV and LD's too. Good luck![]()
"carpe diem"
I was in Vegas last weekend and found Sapphires to be very busy for the size.Thur ,Fri,and Sat were busy with alot of older gentlemen, not to much riff raff. Jaguar's I heard was not busy (i did'nt have any reason to go there since the last time it was also dead). Most of the girls said Ch2 has been steady. We went to CH2 every night and both rooms were pretty busy by midnite. However in my opinion the crowd was not even close to the caliber of Saphires and there were to many young guys.Saphires definatley has the better crowd and $ per cust.,but the number of dancers at Saphire is very high.

Thanks very much, Britney and Chet. I'm not sure when I'm going to visit but when I do I will be better off for your advice.

Britney, I'm surprised to hear you say that CH2 is hard to get hired at. I was there a couple nights ago when vacationing in Vegas, having drinks and hanging out with a couple of dancers there, and I was asked to come work there. Unfortunately I only had a day left, and I'm Canadian, so I doubt I'd be able to get a sheriff's card, but otherwise I would have definitely given it a shot. (and I'm a bit of an old bird!)

Ara,
Thats interesting to hear. Was it Vinnie or John who asked you?

I thought that new law in Vegas that took in effect last September prohibits dancers under 21 from working in topless clubs? I've always heard that OG and Club Paradise were the hardest places to get hired in Vegas, is this true, or is CH2 even harder.

CH2, OG, Cheetahs, and Glitter Gulch are 4 topless clubs that were exempt from the law.
To be honest, I haven't "tried" to get hired in a while, so I really don't know. With all the new mega-clubs that are opening up (Jags, Sapphires), girls are leaving the older clubs (Ch2, OG) to try out something new. As a result, the older clubs have to hire new girls to fill the vacancies...so they may be less selective in their process. This is most true with Club Paradise....I was very surprised at the amount of 7s and 8s working there! They used to turn down 9s!

Hey Britney,
Quite honestly I haven't a clue who I was talking with. We went down there after seeing a show, and I had already had quite a few drinks. I met a couple of the girls there and we hit it off, were having drinks, doing the girl talk thing, giving each other massages and stuff - just playing around and having fun. Some guy approached me, asked my stage name and where I was working. I told him I wasn't working anywhere and he said that some guys there were interested in me and asking about me, and that if I wanted to work there I should let him know. At that point I said that I couldn't work in the US because I was a Canadian girl, and that I was just down on vacation. That was pretty much it - I didn't get his name, and I don't even remember what he looked like (things were getting a little foggy by then). The girls there weren't all 10's, but the ones I spoke with were a lot of fun, good energy and really friendly.
Ara
Pryce, can you add Jaguars and Sapphires in the "Club Reviews" section.![]()

Guest,
Anyone can add a club review...just no one has reviewed Jags or Sappire's yet.

If you're willing to go bottomless, try Little Darling's on Wyo...
It can be a tricky hustle because the crowd is sober, but they're more respectful, IMHO... They seem to know that touching is illegal... plus they're usually so mesmirized by the hoo-hahthat they don't use their hands on you...
I've had my best nights in Vegas at LD... and some of my worst ones. the key is to avoid weeknights.

IVY GIRL-if you see this I'd like to ask you some questions-if you wouldn't mind-thanksIf you're willing to go bottomless, try Little Darling's on Wyo...

guess who's back? back again
Sapphire is not currently hiring as I understand it. THey have more than they can handlw. I am told from an inside source that they have a databse of 5000 dancers acorss the country. I did a review of Sapphirie but not sure if it is there or not.. THis is a great club and not for the cheapie college crowd
Rent is I believe $5 before 8PM and 75 after 8PM , don;t get there at 8:01 cuz you will pay more
ALso Topless Clubs in the city limits can hire under 21, O.G. CHToo,. If you are outside.. Sapphire. Jaguires, Club Paradise , etc you have to be 21 and you need your Birth Certif to get your work card.
