Sometimes I get those when I wear a certain mesh crop top at work. It barely covers my nipples and is a rough material so all night I'm constantly pulling it down resulting in these little bumps. They go away after a couple hours when I'm wearing something soft like cotton. I dont know if were talking about the same thing but I get bumps too like that. Its like a rash from the irratation of the skin from the material.

I have a few light coloured bumps (very small) around the line of both my areolas. They are very faint, and i thought they where there, because hair would have grown out of them if i was a guy. But some women have a few hairs that do grow out of the areola i hear. Pretty common. They pluck...Ouch.

I also have tiny very faint bumps around the line of my areolas.
Have you always had them or have they only now appeared?
I thought they were normal.

I don't think you have anything to worry about hun.... but just to ease your mind why don't you go and see your doctor.

I have em too as do most girl they are just little hair bumps. Most of them, specifically those that follow the areola line, have tiny skin toned or very light hair growing out of them that you probably never noticed before. Any other small bumps in this area are as mentioned above skin irritations or clogged pores. I went through this breaking out on my chest for awhile and it was a combination of my cleansing stuff, exfoliation and clogged pores that were my problem and resulted in blackheads or tiny little skin toned bumps around my chest and under my breasts.
My doc first told me to use Neutrogena body clear body wash and that got rid of the majority of the problem. After that she gave me some prescription acne stuff, told me to avoid bras that are prone to hold sweat like sports bras, the ones with gels in the bottom, and to use a feminine hygiene spray to keep the area under my breasts dry.
It worked and in three weeks the blackheads and bumps resulting from clogged pores were gone. I still have a small number of bumps around each areola with tiny little hairs peeping out that I sometimes get rid of and sometimes leave alone.

are you pregnant? I don't remember whether I had them before pregnancy but they've never gone away.
They're called Montgomery's tubercles. They're normal. They keep the areola moisterized, if you will.
ok I can't get the link to work. I'm sure you could do a search for montgomery's tubercles or even areola bumps.

YEs, those are my boobs. oh good, I'm glad the link works when I double checked it, it kept saying "sorry..."
