    Default workout tape suggestions?

i'm looking for some suggestions on some really upbeat, non boring, aerobic like, good music, work out tapes!! in need of some serious cardio and i'm unable to join the local gym for another 2 months...the weather has been around 25 degrees so walking or running is out of the question - sorry, i'm too much of a woos to brave that!! plus i have no access to anything stationary such as a bike or treadmill or a stair climber... so in a nutshell that is why i'm interested in a workout tape..

yes i could go to a movie store and go through the endless amount of workout wonder they have , but i much rather get some first hand suggestions!!

It sounds stupid but I have been using the Billy Blanks tae bo workout tapes for a few weeks now and they work great. I use the best of the abs and butt workout and tae bo cardio. The guy kind of gets on my nerves sometimes but he knows what he is doing. You should give it a try

i also use billy blanks tae bo workout tapes.... But my fave is the reebok step arobics workout kit. They have a few vids and the kit comes complete with the box. Its a great cardio workout and i noticed muscle defintion in my thighs and a firmer butt within weeks

I do TheFirm tapes, have been for years. I LOVE the 3 set package that's been advertised on TV. They come with a "fanny lifter" that really works your bum! My rear is tight and lifted because of that fanny lifter. I tend to like the Britney Spears look -- toned, so these tapes do the trick for me.

I heard Carmen Electra's coming out with a new Strip Workout video. One of the other girls had mentioned this a while back so that's how I know. I love Carmen Electra and I think she has a killer body. So her tape is probably pretty good! O ya and I bored a Pilates tape from some one once and that was great too. ERRR I can't remember the name of it. Sorry maybe I"ll think of it later.

I love Pilates! My mom has the Giam beginner and intermediate DVD workouts (Anna Caban is the instructor) which I do when visit her since I can't get to the gym or do my Firm tapes. I usually go for a 30 minute walk outside, then do the Pilates tapes to strengthen my core. I prefer Pilates to yoga, but that's just my oppinion.

I like Billy Blanks' Tae Bo tapes too, although I haven't done them in awhile. There's a couple step aerobics tapes I like too-I don't know the names but Denise Austin has some good ones and so does Kathy Smith. I tried Richard Simmons' Sweating to the Oldies once but it wasn't challenging enough for me-I think Richard Simmons' tapes are more for really out of shape people.

If you're looking to firm up a certain body part, Abs of Steel and Buns of Steel are great. You will really feel the burn afterwards!

If you do Cardio Kick- Boxing, Boxing or Thai Boxing; I recomend "Bas Rutten's Mixed Martial Art's Work Out" tapes. They are absouletley the best exspecially if you have a stand up punching or Heavy bag around.

They're simple to understand and will wear you out.

They are best tapes I've ever used.

    So please check them out.

I have the Carmen Electra 5 disc set. IMO its ok (I really like #1 to warm up), but the Firm works fantastic!

these two workouts are the best at-home workouts i have ever purchased. The first one is A LOT more intense than the 2nd; 1st one is high-intesity/high-impact while the 2nd one is high-intesity/LOW-impact, which is better for your knees & joints. You need a step for both.

You can watch video clips or read reviews for every workout before buying.

Call me old fashioned, but I like Jane Fonda's complete workout when I want some decent calories burned (300), and a pretty easy workout.

Carmen electra already came out with a 5 DVD strip to fit set. I got it and love it, but i don't know how people who strip will like it. It might be kind of slow paced. Thing is i can only work up a sweat if I put the dance part ( not instruction ) on repeat and do it five times. You can set it up to do that though , and cut out whatever you don't like, plus you can change the music. it's pretty cool and the 5 DVD set was only $40 at Frys Electronics. i looked around and that was the cheapest i found.
I could only find disk 1 and 2
