I also a dancer wannabe. I'm 5'6 and about 127lbs but I still have some extra fat on my stomach and on my thighs. you know...I don't think comparing height and weight will get you anywhere because everyone is different and everyone has different bone structure and everything. You look good in your pics you should probably just go audition and you'll see if you have what it takes there. by the way you look SO much like my brother's ex girlfriend it's spooky.

Confidence goes a long way! If you're thinking you hate your body, it'll come through in how you dance and interact with people.

I'm not exactly skinny either (5'9" and 158 ) but I'm one of the top earners at my club. Guys are constantly telling me they love my body.

Just go for it. The worst that can happen is that they don't hire you and that's not really that bad.

yes emily is exactly right..yes a nice body and pretty face is what the normal calling for dancers.. but personality can get you everywhere.. there are girls at my clubs that are STUPID hot.. 5"9 100 lbs.. but they have no personality..

but i work with other girls that are a little over weight cause of having kids or whatever.. but have the best personalities.. they make so much b/c of that..

when it comes down to is.. guys coem to look at us.. but most of the tiem they are lonely guys who just want someone to talk to and hang out with

it never hurts to go out there and try i think you guys need not worry about your weights unless you are like 300 hundred pounds then that'll be a diffrent story i think you should just go and audition and if you do and the club does'nt hire you there are always other clubs so i sugesst you keep trying ...but judging fron the pics i dont think you should have a problem getting hired

I love that picture of you dancing! You're stealing the show girl!

Truth: Men love women. Period. But it's who hires you that's more judgemental.

You gotta remember that you represent the club. Your body is how you make your money and you must treat it like a temple. I can't deny that good exercise is great and it also helps boost confidence so I'm glad to see you like to go to dance classes.

But having the confidence, assertiveness and persistence is what'll set you apart from the rest! I think those are the important skills to have in the dancing world!

Don't spend a lifetime comparing yourself to others, you have fresh qualities to add to what's already out there so try and be unique and different.

I think you're an attractive girl, you shouldn't have much trouble getting started. Just use what you've got and you go girl! Good luck!

Your fine and a lot of your "chub" will tone up just from dancing.and the heels slim the legs right up. Plus the guys are looking at the whole package...not just some problem areas...there are some big girls at my club who make lots of money.

Well, I'm about 5'5 160lbs and I must say I look damn good. Alot of people dont even believe I weigh this much when I tell them. Anyway, I think it's all on how your body is built, you know how well you can "carry" your weight. Dont' worry about what everyone elses measurements are. And also, Going to Bally's to firm up is a good idea. I'm doing the same thing myself

I'm 4'11" and 109 lbs., and I've been dancing for four years now. All dancers come in many flavors, and I agree with what Destiny said about going to amateur night. Go do your thing, girl!

Some clubs weigh the girls in. A friend of mine worked at a gown club in Dallas and loved the weigh in because it forced her to stay slim, ie, starve herself.

Everyone is built uniquely. In the case of this girl ,she is 5'5, and maybe 140 lbs, but she is TIGHT with no fat, and just an amazing firm body.

I am 5'4 and 115, and I think that's about what they want in height/weight, but I have seen girls my height that weigh 95 and 150..its all about the Body Fat Index or whatever the call it....

I thought her last post with only the first two said something about her trying to find a shot that would show her body somewhat. Good of you to notice though so we don't have one of those persons just posting for less than true motives:

    Hi girls,

I'm interested in dancing at super high-end clubs such as Jaguars or Paradise in Vegas, Scores or VIP in NY. Please take a look at my picture and honestly advise if you think I have the looks for it. No hard feelings. Thanks!! http://photos.yahoo.com/jelsaad
Well, girls, I worked my first night at Scores and was truly intimidated. Not only are these girls gorgeous and articulate, but they are also very aggressive hustlers. No matter, though, I still made $900, which I think is decent considering it was my first night. Besides, if I'm going to learn the ropes, I might as well observe these industry pros and become competitive. So far, so good

I was looking at this site and thought of this thread. http://www.justbreastimplants.com/size.htm According to this, my implants weigh 2.22 lbs. for both of them, they are 525 cc's.

I also used the bra measurement chart and it was right on. I've tried Victorias Secret method of measuring before and it doesn't work for me, probably not for any augmented ladies.

This was a pretty good site for anyone considering a BA. I haven't seen it before, but I learned some things.

Hotbidancer, you probably had some water weight too after surgery. Nine lbs. sounds like too much!

To the best of my ability to weigh them separately (I tried the produce scale at WalMart in the middle of the night!), together my implants weigh about 17 pounds. I'm 5'3" and weigh 139 pounds with implants. This jives with Kobi's formula which says they would weigh 3,800cc * 2 * 2.2 lbs/1,000cc = 16.8 pounds. They're quite a handful.

Or six handfuls! Well in my case 10, I have small hands.
