Default Self Tanner for olive skin.. Help!

    Hi everyone,

I hope this isn't already on another thread, but does anyone know of a good self tanner for olive skin? Fake bake didin't give me any color at all !! :-/ Mystic tan gave me a great color but faded in like four days and I can't really afford to go to the salon every four days!!
Anyone got any ideas? I really love that bronzed look when I dance!!

Miss george is right. Neutrogena products are great! They have a tanner that is very dark. They range from a slight tan to very dark. I love all their products.

Funny thing, I found the Neutrogena tanner went really orange on my skin, which is fair to medium, but tans well. I really like their skin products though.

I've also found the Neutrogena to be orange on my skin (I have fair skin, as well). I tried the Bain de Soleil "Radiance Eternelle" quite some time ago and didn't find it to look natural at all on me, either. The only one I ever use now is Clarins Gelee - it looks unbelievably natural on me. I've also heard very good things about Estee Lauder. However, those two brands are a bit more expensive, so if the Neutrogena or the Bain de Soleil works for you - definitely stick with them. But if anyone else with fair skin is having a hard time finding a self-tanner that looks natural, they may want to try either the Clarins or the Estee Lauder. Keep in mind though that they're each about $25 per tube, though!!

LatinRose, I heard someone talking about the Christian Dior SuperBronze the other day. I was thinking of trying it, myself. Out of curiousity, how long does that take until your skin feels really dry? And is it a lotion or a liquid spray consistency?? I tend to have an easier time with the lotion formulas.

I've switched back to the Benefit "Aruba in a Tuba" since B&BW seems to have changed their formula. I have fair-ish skin with an olive undertone. It is the most consistantly natural looking but you have to make sure you apply it evenly. My workout partner came to pick me up and I was *darker* than her and just as brown. She tans in a bed 3-4x week. It runs about $22-25.
