If you were to use 1 hair extension track in a fun color like green/blue/pink ect.. Do guys get it?
-or-
Does that just make you look UN-glamorous and or punkish looking?

Depending on the club, I'd think in general it might be too "edgy". But that is just my opinion. BUT it's just a hair extension... if it doesn't work, take it out![]()

I wouldn't do it at work because it would be too edgy and punkish, but if I had too, I'd go pink.
Yes, I thought that un-natural haircolors ''cheapen' your overall look as well; (e.g. Christina Aguilera) but wanted to be certain of the concenus on the topic. Sometimes I feel psychedelic and want to do different things, but I don't want to do it at the expense of looking cheap.
Thanks ladies! =)

I meant: ("consensus" on the topic.) One of my many mis-spellings here!! Jeez- always want to hit that submit button too fast! ;p
I think if you have blonde hair a few pink extensions may look good. If you have dark hair a few blue extensions may look good. Don't go overboard though, just a few. It can set you apart, and look nice. And stay away from brights. Yuk.
Just what i have seen before, some can look good.

I would experiment with a few fun colours but in moderation only. I normally do that when I braid my hair, I will leave in a few streaks of a cool colour. It's no deal coz I know I can always take it out whenever I like. That's the joy of extensions.
But if you want to try a new colour, never dye the hair. Start out safe first!

You know, I've noticed many younger Asian women using the blue tipped extensions on their black hair. For some reason, this does not cheapen their look.

It is true that certain looks can get away with the wild thing. When I lived in SF years ago I remember seeing Asian girls with red and blue tipped hair and loved it. No it didn't cheapen their look. Usually. I had waist length straight black hair with fire red tips and got a lot of modeling jobs (for leather/latex or fetish type stuff) but I'd never do it in the club. I'm tall, too, so I try not to make myself intimidating.
By the same take, light pink in blonde hair can look cute but it all depends on the girl and the hairstyle.

From a work perspective, I think fun colors would turn off the older gentlemen.
I had black and hot pink extensions done (mostly black w/pink streaks) and loved it!!! It did not affect my $, but I was copied in three days!!
Use the little clippy things and see what happens with a neat color to contrast your hair. As a general rule avoid green and orange, everything else is open for negotiation. Pink is neat for blondes, and looks great as undertones in back of black hair . Try blue, black, purple for darker tones hair. Wild colors look best on either very light or very dark hair. With mine being light auburn right now, my blonde highlights are the only thing that I think can possibly work. Anything else would look clownish or just plain damn dumb. If you're a blond or have black/really dark hair or something I say go for it and see what you can do. Besides colored hair is the cheapest you can purchase so you can buy lots of tracks in multiple color and attach clips to them or you can put in an entire length of track. Have fun and give it a try.

I love unusual colors in hair. I don't know about how well it would help working in a club but I think it looks awesome. I wish I could get dreadlock extensions but have to settle for hair falls when I go out since I have a job where I have to look professional.
