Default www.howcool.com Glam Strip for Hair

    Hi Ladies,
This information was in the Pam Anderson look thread. Someone suggested using these glam strips as hair extentions. The web site does not mention how these extentions actually insert into the hair.

The one I was looking at is this one:
    http://www.howcool.com/manicpanichair/MP-SSA-15202.htm

Can anyone use these strips? How do they actually attach to the hair? I want to add some blonde highlights to my hair and add blonde glam strips to both my hair and my hairpieces to match in order to attract attention at work with light contrasts in the hair.

Any information or recommendations? If not, I will email the web site itself.
    Many thanks, Katrine

Ok, I did the research myself. www.manicpanic.com sells their glam strips a bit cheaper than the other site, plus free shipping for now!

I ordered a couple of blonde human hair 18" strips for my hair and my hairpieces. They do attach on a comb. The photos were pretty awful, but its worth a try, I will fill everyone in on the status....

    Hey girlie,

I recommended the strips on the P A web.

When I was visiting my gay husband in L.A. I was getting my hair done and talking to this stylist about Pam's hair & she sent me to this wig shop a couple streets over from Rodeo drive.

The clips they had were on a metal comb that did the bendy click thing. I couldn't tell you if they are all designed like that or not but I wouldn't be surprised.

The guy at the shop put a couple in as a demo for me. I would say, in general, the object is to use them for height and fullness.

Anyways, he grabbed the top section of hair on the back of my head and put it to the front. He put the clips in, teased the section of hair he had grabbed and moved and then layed it back down over the clips. Does that make sense?

I hope your mission for big hair is successful. Good luck. Keep us posted on your results [santa]

I was at the mall yesterday and stumbled across a kick ass hair extension set. Its pricey, but nice.

Its a line by Racquel Welch. Check it out at www.wigs.net
