    Default make up brands?...

Just wondering what brand of foundation everyone uses.... I keep changing and can never seem to find the 'perfect one' Something with good coverage that doesn't look caked on and comes off easily. Has anyone found such a wonder product?

If I do wear foundation, I wear Max Factor. If I'm working however, I just wear concealer over obvious blemishes. I personally find that in the stuffy club atmosphere, foundation is the last thing my skin needs to be helping clog those pores.

I use clinque's continuous coverage it is a little thicker soi it gives excellent coverage. You only need to use a little bit if you use too much it will give you the really made up look. I like this foundation because i really like the look of a flawless face and it covers freckles discoleration everything. only bad thing is the lack of color choice in fact they just discontinued my favorite color so i went to another

when i do wear make up (which is rare) it's M.A.C. studio fix...they're the only brand out there (aside from mineral make up) that doesn't break my skin out...and the only one i've found that matches my skin tone exactly...

MAC Studio Fix is an excellent option for a powder/foundation combo...comes in a compact...it's very light and goes on smooth like powder, but it's a little moist. Use a little concealer under it to cover blemishes or dark circles. It's all I ever wear, ever.

I don't wear a foundation, but for my lips and liner for eyes i use Loreal products. Don't know what it is, maybe they bought my love of their products when i started using only Loreal on my hair, from their bleach to colour to streaking and shampoos with conditioners.

i am always switching. i used to like MAC but it felt too heavy. switched to Bobbi Brown, which looks really natrual. got bored. switched to Dior, but now i'm thinking it looks to yellow. ahhhh!!! Dior has a great consistency though, not too heavy, not too light.

I find that just dotting concealer on blemishes and skipping the foundation makes for a younger and fresher look. Plus, when I used to wear foundation it'd come off on my costumes and after a stage set I'd wipe my face and it'd come right off. I kind of just gave up on foundation.

I second Bare Escentuals, but mostly for their foundation, bronzer, eye shadow and blush. For everything else (brows, eyeliner, concealer, mascara)....I love Lancome.

Hands down...chanel is the best...wonderful foundations and powders. their shadows are great too because they are true color and hand pressed... a little goes a long way and it lasts all day and night. you get what you pay for. lancome comes in second...they have good color selections, but you have to use much more to get the look of the color in the palette. mac has lots of color, but the quality is not quite as high. say no to clinique and your orange face [nono]...i can spot a clinique face a mile away. i'm much better off w/ any walgreens brand, especially loreal, which is produced by lancome...basically the same stuff. loreal has the exact same stuff, such as the juicy tubes, lash architect, eye makeup removers...good quality at a lower price. bare essentials isn't bad , but a total pain in the ass...the make up is messy and gets all over the place. it's like sticking a brush in a box of brownie mix.

i think a lot depends on your skin type. I for one cant wear MAC because it all has oil in it, it is the best if you are doing pictures or something and can wash your face after. I know what Kaylee is saying about "spotting a clinique" face as they seem to give a pink effect, however they have a new 'Clarifying' powder that is oilfree with great coverage and if you can wear the neutral shade it doesnt look pink/orange at all. My friend that uses a lot of MAC said that you arent supposed to touch-up with Mac powder all nite because it clogges skins breathing factor. try touching up with covergirl or oil free stuff during the nite.

Nars makes a really good oil free foundation, not heavy at all. I've been using it for years

I love Christian Dior moisturizing satin finish foundation.

I have very dry skin and this foundation makes my skin feel comfortable all day.

Sally Hansen airbrush foundation is great for work. It's sheer, sweatproof, and cheap. It makes the skin look flawless. You just can't sleep in it cuz it's like stage makeup (can give you zits!). Everything else- MAC or benefit

I never wear makeup, only if I'm doing pictures. Anyway I was wondering if not wearing makeup to the club is a big no-no?? I ask this because with all of the blacklights and smoke filled rooms, could wearing makeup kinda block these impurities out??

I wear Bloom foundation (the one in the pump). It's natural looking and can be sheer or provide more coverage if needed. It is also long lasting. Only problem is that they have a limited color palette but strangely enough the Number 3 colour looks good on me and all my friends?!?!

I like Loreal for pretty much everything else.

I wear Max Factor in the club...because I put my makeup on heavier since its dark and the lights and stuff...havent had a problem with it getting on clothes, etc because I set it with powder...
Cinnamonkisses- personally i think you should wear makeup in the club...i think it enhances the fantasy aspect..but that's just me

Also nice-the Shiseido concealer. I dot some on with a brush and blend it in with moisturizer. Use it all over then go over the whole face with a damp cosmetic sponge. looks much more natural
