I have 2 feathers boas. I wore 1 as a top, it was neat. Wrapped it around my boobs, pastie glue helped keep it on. And sexy red booty shorts with red thigh high boots.

Differetnt look, but now and again it worked. I don't see dancers doing anything wiht them.

There was a girl at my club that did the most beautiful and original thing with her boa. She owns a daring tight corset and tucks the boa around the bottom of it, with the bulk of it showing mostly at the back. Thats all she wears with a g-string. She looks like a foxy vegas/burlesque show girl. When she wears it, she always banks! It's so original and extremely sexy! Worth trying.
    Worth checking out I'd say!

Just be careful in the club because they will start to shed. Otherwise... go for it. We had a girl at one club that always used ones with a certain evening gown and she appealed to the older guys.

Another thing to worry about is the dye in the feather boa. I remember being covered in black from my neck to my arms after a sweaty night in New Orleans, You will probably sweat at work-boas don't exactly help you keep cool. you might have to ditch it at the beginning of your stage show. I would not wear it the conventional way-you could turn it into lovely accents for your wrists, the bottom of dresses, etc.

Yes, black ink from the feathers is quite unattractive. I learned the hard way. Stick with white...and invest in a good one from a costume shop...they all shed, but the cheaper $10 ones shed way worse than the fuller, better made $30+ ones.

I don't know about any other club's but I personally don't allow them on my stage, they shead and get feather's all over, being totally nude that mean's getting them stuck to body part's that tend to embarress and otherwise distracted dancer's that follow.

I also don't allow sequin outfit's for the same reason.

yeah, they do shed and it will piss other girls off. If you get one I recommend a turkey feather boa. So much more luxurious than fake feathers.

I've never worked at a club that didn't allow feathers, sequins, glitter. Baby oil is the biggest no-no

Yo, I have clear shoes and want to jazz them up! What type of superglue did you use? Everytime I use the stuff it never works! Super, my ass!!

Malibu, I used some kind of craft glue I got at Michaels I forgot the brand name but I spread craft glue on the clear part that goes over your foot and rolled it in silver glitter it looked soooooo dope but eventually the glue/glitter started to peel off.

my club doesnt allow feathers either, but sequins and glitter are fine. i think the only reason they dont allow feathers is they dont want to clean them up!

Use fabric glue dear. Go to your local costume shop or a sewing store.

But Cinnamon, will it work on the plastic dancer shoe type of material? I know that it would need some really good glue.

fabric glue/craft glue whatever the bottle said for fabrics and crafts. It will work fine but eventually (depending how often y ou wear them) rhinestones or glitter will pop off. just try gluieng one or 2 rhinestones on your shoe see how it holds up?>

Aileen's Tacky gluefound at most fabric shops for about $3.00.
    Flows white, but dries clear.
    Good craft glue!
Or.....you can buy glue spray to adhere all your glitter. Excellent for applying glitter!
I make alot of things, and found a few of my own ideas to make things work. If you have any questions, do let me know, I'd be happy to help!
