I know you can buy bump cream at the shops but they sell them in tiny tubs with extortionate prices (at least where I am).
That's a good tip, I may try that. I'm still prone to the odd bump or two although much less that when I stopped shaving and starting epilating and using creams.

i use wax.

y'know, I've never tried wax before. But I guess I just prefer doing simpler things myself. I can imagine the mess I'd get into with a home-waxing kit!! *lol*!
Anyway, not to stray from the subject, is it the alcohol in the deodorant that 'kills' the bumps? I could always try using strong vodka. It's been sitting on my shelf for a few months now doing nothing.

I've also heard that benzoil peroxide zit cream works. I don't know. Wouldnt that sting?

Regular solid Ban works great
Personally, I recommend Dove.

Actually if you use an antimicrobal soap in the shower, it'll help a lot. I use Provon, I got it from my local peircing shop, they use it to clean peircings. Also a tiny dab of antibiotic cream with also do the trick.

Deodorant is the best thing for bumps! I've been using it for about a year and not a single bump in the bikini area!

After I shave, I then wipe with witch hazel. Then I apply deodorant too ( preferrably Dove) . It smells good, and keeps me bump free.

I use Tend Skin. It solved my razor bump issue perfectly. It does sting a bit though but sooo worth it.![]()
I typically use Bikini Zone gel and that has good results, however deodorant is always handy in a pinch. Sometimes the Bikini Zone stings though, perhaps because I have sensitive skin...

I danced in New Orleans and the girls there told me they used diaper rash cream... I've never tried it.... has anyone else?

aveeno sensitive shave cream. Mach 3 razor ,use alcohol afterwards and mosturize well.
I use diaper rash cream. Works great for me.
^^^^^ sounds good, but does it glow in the black lights???? I am always worried about stuff like that and working in a nude club doesn't make trial and error a very good idea..
Anyone know if it glows?
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

If you use deodorant wont that make a white residue? Well, Im going to try it anyways
I would assume that diaper rash cream would get rid of the bumps caused by irritation
Those little bumps could be caused by irritation, sweat (clogging the pores and making a tiny zit), and an ingrown hair (or cist)
diaper rash cream helps with irritation, witch hazel or antibacterial soap helps with keeping the pores clear and bacteria from getting inside. I dont know what to do about ingrown hairs though. Maybe thats what the deodorant does?
