    Default forgot to ask earlier

    Re: skin written 11/24/03
Sorry I forgot to ask earlier, but does using nightly zit cream like oxy benzoil peroxide stuff cause facial tanner to fade or be uneven? What zit creams are out there that wont affect a fake facial tan.
I'm very tired, don't really know if that made any sense,
but I thought I'd get more responses by posting a new thread instead of writing this in the old one.
    Really I am clueless.
    Thanks again

Benzoil peroxide will bleach stuff. I use a 10% BP wash and I've noticed it's bleached stains on my nice towels! I bet it prabably would mess up a fake tan, but the good thing is you can just spot treat the white spots with more tanner. I do notice that my face loses the fake tan in a day or two, while it lasts longer on my body, proabably because I wash my face so often.

I think any zit creams will probably fade our fake tans. I just add more fake tan every day, or every other day to counteract it.

Best way to apply your fake tan is to exfoliate first, then apply the tan and let it sit for a couple hours before you wash it off.

My question for all the fake tan girls is, is there any brand of fake tan that does not have that horrible smell?

The best smelling tanner I have used (and I've tried lots!) is Lancome Soleil Flash Bronzer. It's pretty pricey, and it doesn't give you a dark tan, more of a medium bronze, but it does not look orange at all, and it doesn't smell. It also dries really quick, so you don't have to spend a lot of time wandering naked
I put it on at night before bed, and in the morning I notice a very faint tanner smell, but just barely. The others I have used smelled bad right away, and the scent lingered on anything I had touched (sheets, clothes, etc.)
