    Default False Eyelashes

Hey everyone! I'm getting ready for work right now. I just bought the falsh eyelashes after hearing about them on here. But the directions on the things suck! I'm hoping someone can help me really quickly.

So the directions say to apply them as close to the lash roots as possible. So does that mean I glue them to the skin of my eyelid or do I glue them to my actual eyelashes??? Help!

Glue the lashes as close to your lashes as possible without gluing them onto your lashes. Your lashes need to be in front of the fake ones (looking straight on) so that when you put mascara on, they will blend together for a natural look. If you glue the fake lashes to your lashes, it will not look right and you will have a devil of a time trying to get the glue off. Also, if you glue the lashes too high up, they will look totally fake plus the glue line will show and possibly cake up your eyeliner and shadow. HTH!

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Boy those things are a bitch to put on, and then they made me look like a drag queen. Oh well next time I'll get the ones that aren't so thick. Maybe I'm just not good at it. I always see other girls wear them and they look great.

Thanks for saving me from having to rip out my own eyelashes!

I just started wearing false eyelashes last week because you lovely ladies keep talking about them. I love them! I am addicted and I think they make me look glamorous. Thanks girls!

They are a bitch to put on though.[glow=red,2,300][cuss][/glow]

You should try the ones from MAC. They have several different styles but I think the best are the ones that go only on the outer part of your eyes. They are on a track so you are not gluing a zillion little lashes to your face! I also love the DUO glue. It's stinky but it works and it's easy to get off. Good luck with those damn things!

We have an exotic dancer store right in our dressing room. They sell Bliss brand for $3. They are for the whole lashline, and are not a lot of little lashes. I wear Bliss #47 an they fit me perfect. They are 100% human hair. I am getting better with practice. I started out with Mabelline. They were like the Bliss except not as dramatic and $5.50.

    One more note:

It helps if you curl your lashes after the glue has dried to blend the false lashes with the natural ones. And a line of liquid liner does wonders as well!

It also helps to pull the eyelid taut as you apply it. a friend can help you with this. You can use flat-tip tweezers and minimum adhesive for the most natural look.

    Good Luck

OOO I love them. I've worn them for the last two years I've danced. Their soo Playboyish. It makes a huge difference too if your going for the Fantasy girl type (which that's what we all should be going for) Two thumbs up!!

Something I learned after having trouble removing them when someone else applied them... grrr ... if they pull at all on your natural lashes (sometimes glue goes where you don't intend it to), take a shower with them on. The steam will loosen the bond so you don't hurt yourself or pull your own lashes out.
