Default Results of my lower eye lid surgery

I'm not as pleased with the results of this one as my other surgeries. Almost two weeks have passed since my surgery. What I didn't realize before the procedure was that removing the fat from under my eyelid would make my eyeball bulge more noticible. (goldfish eyes) All the darkness is not gone either because there is still darkness where the lower eyelid muscle is. I know Pamela, you were wondering about this procedure sometime ago and I just wanted to share my experience. Healing was not a problem. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have got it done because I didn't really need it. I just didn't like the darkness. It would be okay for someone with more puffiness.

Angelina Iam getting this procedure done too, upper and lower though,so far I was told not to do my upper, but I was thinking the same thing you said,as I have dark circles and not really any puffyness or loose skin,I know it does not help with dark circles,Iam surprised they didnt tell you,Iwas not sure I needed this as when I get phto facials, pulsed light treatment the area looks fine, but then it goes away, the other doctor said if he did it he would take the fat and re position it so the bulgy eye thing doesnt happen, because I have very prominent cheeck bones and if the fat was gone completely I think I would end up w/what happened to you,I dont know what to do because when I mess with myself in front of the mirror, pulling the skin to see what and how it will look I think it looks good.I was dissapointed because the other surgeon that did my boobs and nose who is fantastic said oh yes you are getting puffy on top and the bottom the muscle has lost elasticity and I said are you sure I wont look skeletal after and he was like no and rushes away,so I definately dont want him to do it now and he is the best.Do you have any before and after pictures you can post,pm me if you dont want to talk openly on here or put pictures up,I was told 34 was too young also and wondered if this is true, let me know.

Michele, sometime the cause of the upper eye can be genetics. I had the excess fat, skin on top all my life. I would put on eyeshadow, and you wouldn't beable to see it because of the excess skin. Three yrs ago my surgeon that did my nose suggested maybe I should get the procedure done. I did it, and I love it now!!No more extra skin!! For me, it was definitely well worth it..

Thanks for the heads up Angelina. I don't have puffy eyes everyday, so maybe i need to wait longer before having them done. I had a few consults. Pretty nice information, but i am soooo scared.....still.
