I am breaking out on my back. AAAAAH! Mid to lower and it's driving me crazy. I have good skin, damnit and I do not know what's going on. It's kinda itchy but no one seems to think it's a rash. HELP.

Sorry soy, I don't know how to help but you made me laugh with the title. Bacne... LOL I hope it clears up soon.
Do you have a S/O who will scrub your back nice and clean with a good soap for you each day? Boy is that a dumb question? You probably have about 25 volunteers a day for that job huh?
Seriously though, I get little red dots, that break out like a rash on my tummy and sides, they itch like hell appear for no reason and then go away till the next time. Is it like that perhaps?
Whatever good luck with it, skin problems suck, I know, I have them all I swear!
Anyone with a memory should be very humble.
YES! THEY TOTALLY WILL BE THERE FOR AWHILE AND JUST DISSAPPEAR. I am always thinking... can everyone else see that grossness on my back and then I remember... no one is looking at my back, DUH! It's just annoying. I am using a new shampoo... maybe that's it??
things that make you go hmmmm....... (i'm a total dork, i know!)
watch what youre eating, drink tons of water, make sure its not ana llergy to a soap or lotion you developed. Scrub with exfolliant body washes and so fourth wear cotton when home to keep youre back fresh and cool. You should be fine.
good luck sweety

Mine sometimes seems to have something to do with what clothes I wear. Like a allergic thing maybe? But then I have lots of skin trouble so who knows what those particular dots are from on my skin as opposed to all the other dots I get!
Skin stuff is so much fun isn't it?
Do you know what the best kind of Doctor to be is?
Dermatologist, your patients never die but they never get better either. LOL

Victoria has a good point. I have done it so long I forgot to mention it. In the bath I use Dove, unscented with no perfumes etc etc and in the laundry my wife uses a Cheer that has less alergenics supposedly. Best of luck with it.

I am going to switch back to my old shampoo and see if that helps. Thank you for the advice dudes and dudettes. Wish me luck on my skin-clearing endeavors.
after I started dancing, I was getting zits on my back and butt, which I never really got before. I think it's because all those greasy hands were touching it, I was rubbing it all over the dirty pole and laying on the stage floor....basically getting all sorts of grease and dirt all over it.
Now what I do is wipe my body off after work with baby wipes saturated with Sea Breeze....seems to be working, but I do get the occasional pimple.
Another thing to do is tanning.

Darn you are right Emily I never thought about that but if a lot of guys are touching your back then it would make sense it would leave more oils etc on you.

TANNING... brilliant! That always makes the skin look better huh? God I hate tanning beds but I bet that would help. I am pretty much transparent so I could probably use a trip to the electric beach anyway. GREAT TIP THANKS!!!![]()

Depending on your skin type, tanning can also make you break out as well. The lotion and mainly the sweating makes my butt breakout. I take care of that with astringent. Of coarse, tanning does help some people I'm sure.
If your bumps are caused by a rash then tanning will only make it worse. I have sensitive skin and allergies to any jewelry that is not silver or gold and sunless tanner (I don't know the ingredient that makes me break out) and tanning beds only makes these rashes worse and itch more.
I used to tan all the time but I moved away from New England and my skin actually sees the light of day for more than 3 months out of the year so I don't have to tan as much in the tanning bed. It never bothered me before so I think I'll give it a shot. Keep your fingers crossed!!
It may be contact dermatitis or a skin reaction to an irritant or allergy.
I am intimately aware of how unpleasant this can be. When I was in college I went home one weekend and my mother washed my clothes in a new detergent I was allergic to, unfortunately IT WAS MY UNDERWEAR!!!!
I took 2 finals standing up before the prednisone kicked in.
Webmd has the details at http://my.webmd.com/content/healthwise/74/18413
Feels like your skin is on fire if bad enough. Also could be any irritant, even the a pillow in a car you ride in from time to time, or something aggravated by perpiration. If it is an allergy the only way to find what it is is trial and error or getting stuck a zillion times in a test. GOOD Luck.
PS just for the record I was allergic to the bluing agent in a version of CHEER no longer sold.
i had it pretty bad.. and tanning works while your tan... but after it's gone it was 2x as bad!!! i read something that it makes you break out even more because of the sweating and the peeling... i'm not sure though...
i recommend tea tree oil body wash... it's awesome...
i get it from the body shop.... hope this helps ;)

i had trouble with butt bacne and found i went to endless measures trying to cure it. i'm talking baby wipes next to every toilet, showers a plenty, unscented detergent on my undies and almost drowing from drinking so much water.
i was finally able to achieve a baby's bottom again by buying some undies that weren't a thong. I use them for the gym and with clothing that doesn't show their lines. I got a brand called "barely there". ...hardly noticeable.
i think, in my case, a thong does not inherently have enough material to wick away perspiration (which is bad for the complexion). Switching up the undergarments does the trick for me.
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

I used a baby rash cream. it contains some zinc in it or sulfur (forgot) and it's great for acne. I tried it also on my face once and it made the bumple disapear!
